Lia's pov

"Love, what's on my schedule today?" Ronia asks with a smug look on his face. I know what he is thinking about. I just laugh at his antics, " there will be no lovey-dovey at work. I am your hardworking assistant." I laugh louder as he pouts and he is adorable. I will miss him so much. I squeeze his hand and place a kiss on his knuckles, then my phone dings and I look at the message on the screen. 'All done' it reads. I deleted it immediately and kissed Ronia's hand twice. He knew it was time.

A minute passes and a huge track runs us out of the road and into a big ditch. I hit my head and darkness consumed me.

Third person's pov

Lia and Ronia got into an accident and they were hurt pretty badly considering Ronia was driving. Someone in a black mask opened Lia's door and took her with him. A car was waiting for them in a bushy area. The moment he got in with her, they drove off.

On the other side of the city, a car exploded and burnt all the victims in it; two seven-year-olds, two teenage boys and an elderly couple. The news spread more quickly than wildfire and reached every corner of the world. On the other hand, a passerby called an ambulance for the man in the car that was hit. When the ambulance arrived, they removed him from the crushed car and took him to the hospital.

They tried saving him but he went into a coma. An elegant lady ran inside the hospital looking frantic, " Where is my husband? He was in a car crash. His name is Romania owner of Romania cop." She shouted, alerting the onlooking nurses. A doctor approached her and told her how the said man was doing and when she heard that he was in a coma, she almost lost it.

Eva white's pov

No, no this was not supposed to happen, that bitch was to die and Romania was to come out with just some scratches. Now he is the one lying down and in a coma. It's good the little bastards of his are dead and when he wakes up I will be the first person he sees.

I hope my brother keeps his promise and makes that bitch a whore or just kills her.

I don't mind either way. It's a win for me. The little brat news was all over the television. I burst out laughing at the good news and I am over the moon. Even the old Romanias are dead. Ah, this calls for a celebration," Hello, bring me the most expensive wine, I'm in the hospital VIP room. ASAP!"

As I waited for my drink, I walked to Romania's bedside and ran my fingers on his cheeks with a smile playing on my lips. I will get you the best doctors to bring you out of this coma. I can't wait for us to be married and travel the world with you, my love.

Tony's pov

I can't believe she did that, she killed everyone in that car, even my sons. She will pay for this dearly, she can rot in hell for all I care. I will take away her so-called lover boy and frame her for all those murders. Nobody crosses me and I mean nobody!

I will have to train Metolia then and leave her this empire, that stupid sister of mine. Your days are numbered. Just wait.

"Boss, we've got her." One of my men said as they bowed down. " Okay, put her in the room next to mine, plans have changed. She will be my successor." I told them and they turned to do as I ordered. My heart is aching for my boys, but all that pain will be paid ten thousand folds to the culprits.

After the doctor checked on my beloved daughter, I sat near her bedside and looked at all the scars on her arms. Anger hits me like nothing before. Who did this to her? I will avenge you dear daughter.

Third person's pov

Lia had been awake for quite some time. She heard that the doctor said that she needed rest and she would have amnesia that can not be healed. That made her smile internally. Now she can play her part really well. She made a few changes to Eva's original plan. She made the boys take the twins to school instead of just the grandparents, thus creating a rift between Tony and Eva.

She knew of Tony's plan to make Lechi his successor but Lia loved him too much to put him in harms way. So she is the one in the Lion's den all by herself. She has to play along with Tony so that she can get all the locations where the kidnapped children are hidden. All she knows is that his warehouses are spread all over the world.

Two weeks later, after the terrifying incidents, the world is still mourning the lives that were lost in that car fire. After thorough investigations, it was found that someone had planted a bomb under the car.

Eva had been visiting Romania in the hospital every day but his progress was worsening. Even the best doctor she could hire said the same thing, so at exactly twelve noon, Romania passed away when Eva was reading to him one of her favorite romance novels.

She lost it and promised to sue the hospital for negligence, but we all know that it is the best hospital in New York and with the best doctors, so her threats were useless. Eva was so distraught because she had nothing to claim the Romania empire. According to the men she hired, they said that everything went to Douglas Sanchez, who was Romania's best friend and a very good lawyer.

After Douglas heard Romania succumbed to his injuries, he was so heart broken. He prepared the funeral and he buried him next to his twins' graves, though there was nothing recovered after the explosion. Douglas made sure to pay his respects to the Romania family by making graves for them to honor their memories. He had lost so much in just two weeks and he couldn't take it anymore. He decides to continue his investigation to capture the culprits for both accidents, though he already has a suspect.

After the funeral, he went back to his apartment to rest for a while. While someone delivered a brown envelope to his door and went away after knocking. When he got the envelope and opened it, ALAS! The evidence he needed to put that crazy bitch Eva behind bars for good. He was so angry that he left to go report it to the police.

This case was moved from the local department to the FBI in minutes. Apparently, Eva had been dealing with the wrong people. One hour later, they sent agents to get her and throw her in a dark container for the time being as they did further investigations.

Three hours later, Eva White is in FBI custody but she has no idea, she just thinks that she was kidnapped. While outside in the real world, news was released that she was the mastermind behind the demise of the Romanias. Her fans were so ashamed and in a day Eva White lost everything she had, even her fame. Now she was just the she devil that deserves to pay for every death she caused.

Douglas was relieved about seeking justice for the Romanias. Now he decided to find Lia because half of the empire belongs to her. He just prayed that she was alive so that they could help each other heal their wounds. He knows how much she loved her brothers and the Romanias. She will really be broken when she finds out. He decided to rest first before he began his search for Lia.

On the other side of the city, Lia has begun her training under Tony's supervision. She wants Tony to trust her completely, so she follows him everywhere pretending that she can't remember anything. Her acting skills are top notch. She even started having nightmares of a woman beating and torturing her and when Tony asked about it, she told him.

Tony was no fool. He found out how Lia got those scars and he told his men to go and get that woman. Sarah would pay for hurting his princess.

Tony changed Lia's appearance and name, he had been calling her princess and he told her to dye her hair blonde and wear contacts.

Lia has been doing combat training with some of Tony's men and she has to make sure she doesn't beat them to a pulp.

Luna and Greg decided that Aiden and Adrian had to go to Italy until this mission was done. Jio and Xavi were watching over Douglas. He was almost close to getting Lia back but they had to intervene and mislead him. Though they misled him, they decided to befriend him because he was a walking shell. He looked so lonely and empty.

Days went by and Sarah was found and brought to Tony. She was put in a torture cell but she didn't know why. So Tony had to jog her memories. He tortured her until she confessed to everything she did to Lia and the boys. He was so guilty of not being there for them, he decided Sarah had nothing else to live for, so he gave her to his men to do whatever they wished to do to her. That was the last Lia had of Sarah.
