FINDING OUT

Third person's pov

It had been two weeks after the visit from the Camerons. The family had fun getting to know each other. The boys fell in love with each other and bonded more and Luna got to bond with her daughter and she loved every minute of it. Greg noticed how Romania looked at her daughter and confronted him. Romania had a hard time opening up about his feelings, but finally he did and Greg gave him the 'dad talk'.

Lia has been busy in the office and trying to figure out what she is feeling towards Ronia. She had been spacing out and Ronia noticed it too. He is worried about her but he doesn't know how to confront her without kissing her and scaring her away.

She is also nervous because the results of the DNA test will be received today and they are all having dinner with the Camerons.

The day goes by in a blur. Lia left early to go prepare dinner. Ronia is leaving the building and he feels someone watching him. A cold shiver hits him and he looks around but sees nothing. He gets in his jeep and drives home. When he reaches home, he goes straight to the kitchen where everybody is and the laughter makes the house feel warm. He hugs the twins and the boys. For Lia, they give each other an awkward side hug.

The boys chuckle at this and the twins smile lovingly at the gesture," they look too cute pretending they haven't fallen for each other." Achi whispers in Lechi's ears and they nod knowingly. Ronia goes up to freshen up for dinner.

Luna received the DNA result that afternoon and she was beyond happy. She called Greg, Aiden, Adrian and Lia to inform them of the good news and that they would be opening it at dinner, which Lia proposed to cook.

The Camerons were getting ready to go out for dinner. Luna got a phone call from her baby brother in Italy. She had to fly home for her grandfather's 80th birthday. She knew her family already knew about Metolia and the old man wanted to see her. Her family comes from a long lineage of the Fate mafia group also known as the golden dragon fire, the biggest and most feared mafia group in the world. It is based in Italy and grandpa Juno has been heading it for over fifty years before he gave the reigns to Luna, who is a trained assassin.

She left the mafia after Metolia was kidnapped to look for her and she gave the reigns to her younger brothers, Jiovanni Juno and Xavier Juno. They are the most feared duo in the world. One works as an undercover agent for the government while the other makes sure the underworld is in line. They are both the law in the underworld, and they have their own special ops sponsored by over twenty super-power countries in the world.

The duo are any gang or mafia group's nightmare in the underworld. They are feared and respected at the same time. They have been following up on a child trafficking ring that started in Africa and currently it has expanded to North America. The gang has been leaving dead tortured children's bodies along the way and it woke the demons in both brothers. They believe their niece was kidnapped by the same gang and they are thoroughly investigating the gang.

They will be coming to New York after grandfather's birthday to seek help from an undercover agent that has been following this gang longer than them.

Greg is from old money and the heir to Cameron's group of companies, which is a multi-billion business.

The Camerons are ready and they leave for dinner. You can see their happy faces. They are going to be a family finally and they might join the two families in the future.

They arrived an hour earlier and the sweet aroma invited them to the kitchen. They say their hellos and hugs, the twins are in good moods and are playing with Achi in the playroom.

Lia's pov

Everybody is here and dinner is ready, " Lechi and Aiden get the table ready please." "Right on it sis," Aiden replies and heads toward the dining room. After a while, dinner is fully served and we are all waiting for Luna to read the results. " Miss Metolia Ren is the biological daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Cameron, the DNA results show a 99% match." We are all in tears and Ronia is holding my hands under the table and rubbing his thumbs on my knuckles, which is really comforting.

We all hold hands round the table and laugh at that life-changing piece of news. I just wish I could gather up my courage and tell Ronia how I feel about him. It's my first time to feel this, like I can't breathe well when I see him or my heart beat spikes, my palms sweat and the warm feeling I get when he hugs me every morning and evening. I am afraid he doesn't feel the same but I have to tell him so that I won't come to regret it later.

We begin eating, and dinner ends after a while and we all move to the living room to talk and get to know each other. I think it's time I told them my story, then I can finish by confessing these feelings to Ronia. I am so nervous I think I'm going to burst with joy.

" I have to tell you what happened to me, but first I have to put my babies to bed first." I said as I led the twins towards the stairs. They are giggling as we go up and I can't stop the giggle that comes out of me.

Romania's pov

I watch as Lia and the twins go up the stairs and I can't help that warm feeling in my heart. I will tell her tonight how I feel about her. I want them all together with Lechi and Achi and all the baggage she comes with. I WANT IT ALL!

" When are you going to tell her how you feel?" Aiden's question took me out of my fantasy world. I turn to look at him and I find everybody looking at me like I grew two more heads. I let out a sigh," I don't know but I was planning on telling her tonight, I can't hold it in anymore. She is so good with the twins and everybody in the company adores her. Let's not forget my parents are mad about her. They almost cut their vacation short to just come see her." I ran my hand through my hair.

" How about I just propose to her and skip the girlfriend stage." I say with a sly smirk. " I think she might not like that, every girl wants that from the guy they love don't they!" Adrian says, Lechi and Achi burst out laughing. " What!" Adrain asks with a frown. " Lia is not every girl. She will beat up his ass to next year. I suggest you tell her your intentions, then propose immediately because if you wait she might assume that you weren't serious with your words." Achi says, looking straight at Ronia.

I turned to get confirmation from the eldest brother, who just nodded his head.

I ran to my room to get the ring I bought last week. I know it was impulse buying but she would look perfect in it. I put the ring in my pocket and went back down and found everybody waiting for me.

I sit on the same love seat as Lia and hold her waist. I know it's too forward but I can't wait anymore. Everybody is looking at us and she is blushing redder than a tomato. Damn, my girl is a beauty. Greg clears his throat, taking me out of my thoughts.

Okay, they want me to do this now, huh, such caring godparents.

I turned towards Lia and took her hands in mine. " I don't know how to do this like a normal person but I've fallen for you, I am in love with you. I don't know when or how, but I can't take it anymore. I want to explore this with you and be with you for good." I wiped away her tears with my thumb and kissed her knuckles which were white from the force she was holding my hands. " B-but I'm b-broken and I have scars all over my body. Are you sure you will want me after you know the whole of me?" She asks in between sniffles.

" I don't care if you are a toadstool or a princess, I just want to be with you because you have been a breath of fresh air in my life. I can't take it anymore, sleeping without you in my arms. I want to hold you every time and anywhere. I want you to be the mother of the twins and our future kids. Please just give me a chance to love you." Please say yes my Lia, I promise to love you like crazy. Chuckles bring me out of my crazed thoughts.

" You know Ronia, I also thought of telling you that I love you so much. I was scared you would reject me. I have to warn you that I don't have any experience with all this," she says, pointing between us and I hear chuckles from behind us. " and I was never the happily ever after kinda girl considering my childhood, but I want to be with you too. I don't know if it is possible for forever, but I want us to be forever." She says, smiling at me. I pulled her towards me and kissed her like my life depends on it.

"You know if that is how you will be ravishing my daughter, I think I will lose her before I get to know her well. Now let her breathe!" Greg growls but with a hint of amusement. We reluctantly withdraw from our heart-throbbing kiss and Lia hides her face in my chest and I chuckle at her cuteness.

" My Lia, you are so adorable when you blush." I took a curl of her hair and wirled it in my finger, feeling its softness. I smiled, holding her close to my chest. " Guys, if you keep looking at my future wife like that I think she will melt from all the hot stares you are giving us." I said, covering her with my arms. I lift her and place her on my lap and cuddle her.

Luna breaks the romantic air," If I remember well you were to give my daughter a ring!" Everybody nods and I'm left speechless, these people can't even keep a secret. " WHAT?" Lia asks, lifting her head to look at me, I see confusion and a lot of other emotions in her eyes. " I was at an auction and when this ring was revealed, all I could think of was you. Please allow me to be yours and you mine." " Yes! I want this, I want us." She says without hesitation.

Luna's pov

I am glad Romania is now family for good. I can now let them in on the family secret because I trust him. He is good to my daughter and her brothers and he is worth it and I hope they are ready for the truth.

" Someone has been tailing the both of you for seven days now. I don't think you noticed because you were all dealing with your emotions. I don't know who it is but it seems they are collecting information on Lia and that's why it caught my attention." I told them.

" I know I'm being followed. I saw them five days ago after seeing the same white van following Lechi and Achi." Lia says as she gets her phone to show us the CCTV cameras from Romania co-op and the school where the boys go. "How did you know we were being followed?" Achi asks with a frown. I sigh, " My family, both the paternal and fraternal side, are in the mafia and after my parents met and fell in love, both families joined forces to form the biggest and most feared mafia family known as the Golden Dragonfire."

" So you are related to Juno?" Lia asked. "How do you know that name?" I asked my daughter with a frown. " The guy that took me off the streets when I was sixteen, he is an agent and he was dealing with mafias at the time he trained me and taught me about all the mafia families there is to know. Apparently, Golden Dragonfire is the royalty of the mafia world and he is also friends with grandpa Juno." Lia says with a smile on her beautiful face.

" Juno is your great grandfather and, yes, he is the king of the mafia world. He is against child trafficking and that's how he became friends with the said agent. Nobody knows who this agent is and his identity should remain like that because he is working for so many government organizations." I tell them my voice turning ice and cold . " Well, I was sworn to secrecy by that old man. I can't even tell the boys where I was for those five years I lived with him." Lia says with a smug look. I know that look. I see it in my twin brothers when they want to set free their demons. I sigh knowing this runs in the family.

I look around the living room and the expressions on everybody's faces are funny except my husband's. He knows about my heritage and, after Lia was kidnapped, I left the mafia to start a better life. After a long night of talking and finding out about Lia's past, I was livid and I promised to avenge my daughter , Lechi and Achi. We are now a family and family is forever.

Eva's pov

So this is the woman. I will have to remove her from Romania's life, then handle the twins. Maybe I will kill two birds with one stone. Then Tony will swoop in and take his sons. Romania will be all alone and I can't wait to be with him and take over as Mrs. Romania, I will make him love me no matter what, he will fall for me and will never look at another woman ever again.

I just have to play my cards well, its time for my pawn to enter the playing field.
