BONUS CHAPTER 1

Monday morning is a tough day for most people, but not for the Romanias. Lia is up and ready, preparing the twins for school. After they came back home on Friday last week, they felt something was amiss. Lia knew their house was bugged so they had to keep up appearances to avoid being suspected.

After getting the twins ready for school, she took them to the dining room for breakfast where Lechi and Achi were waiting for them. " You guys can start. I will check on Ronia,"Lia says as she heads upstairs to their room.

Breakfast was eventful as usual. The twins kept laughing at Achi's antics. Lechi is shaking his head in disapproval, but he loves the twins' laughter, so he just looks at his brother with a frown. " If you don't stop they will choke on their food. Let them eat first, then you can entertain them on our way to school." Lechi warns with a straight face, but you can see the amusement in his eyes.

Lia was busy helping Ronia tie his tie while he was admiring his beautiful fiance. He is thinking that he won the jackpot in the love department and he can't wait to make little miniatures with her. After they got ready, they went down to say goodbye to their children and the boys. Stefan and Maria are to take them to school. As planned earlier, the driver who is part of the legion will drive them.

Lia and Ronia said goodbye like they would never see each other again. Maria and Stefan helped the kids into the car and buckled their seatbelts. After they left, Ronia took Lia's hand and led her to the dining room for their breakfast.

Somewhere in one of the most expensive apartments, Eva is watching their every move and she is happily singing 'rotten to the core' from the descendants movie. She feels like this song was made just for her. Yes, her heart is rotten, her mind is beyond rotten and I'm sure her soul is decaying from all the rot.

A chilling demonic laughter is had after she gets confirmation that the bomb was securely attached to the car and the brakes successfully cut. Her evil plans were on point, there was no mishap and nothing was standing between her and Romania empire.

In the black SUV, the twins are happily listening to Achi's stories and Lechi is counting every minute before they get to start on their plan. Then the SUV screeched to a halt near a bakery shop which was owned by a legion. " Come, let's get you chocolate muffins for lunch." Stefan says to his grandchildren, " YAY! Breakfast for lunch, papa, I also want some milk with it please."Xandria said happily.

They all got out of the car and headed for the bakery. After ordering, they were led to the back door and entered a white limousine that was packed at the back door. At that moment, Xavi is playing with the bakery's CCTV. The people watching, they see the whole family walk back out and get into the SUV. The people watching the feed grin and activate the bomb under the car.

Xavi hacks into the SUV controls and drives it from his laptop. He is seated in one of the window seats . If you look at him you'd think he is just a grown man playing video games on his laptop. Please don't let his charming looks fool you, that bastard can hack satellites and eavesdrop on any conversation on earth and I mean top-secret conversations.

Jio, on the other hand, is trying to calm the twins down. They are worried about their parents but he assures them that they will come back safe. " Uncle Jio, are we going to grandpa Juno's palace?" Xander asks with a glint of eagerness passing in his eyes. " Yes little angels, we are headed to our private airport just outside of New York. This will take a while so I suggest you rest." Just then a big boom was heard, it shook them to the core.

The nearby buildings shook from the explosion, then a second explosion came from the same burning car. This was to make sure everybody burned to ashes from Eva's perspective, but since Xavi is the one who caused the second explosion to make sure that no evidence was left behind. This was clean work for him and very easy.

"I can't believe we were to die today, we couldn't have survived that."Lechi says with a distant look in his eyes. Everybody sighs about this. The twins are in shock and are holding on to their grandparents for dear life.

On Juno's private plane, the legions prepare for take off. After Jio drops the Romanias and the boys, he leaves them with a mission; to protect them with their lives. They were taken back to Italy to stay with grandpa Juno until this mission is over, no matter how long it will take.

Eva White was on cloud nine after the explosion and the more she listened in on the news she became more ecstatic. " After some investigation at the site, the police finally concluded that nothing could be recovered after such an explosion. The car is said to have been transporting six passengers plus the driver and nobody survived." A reporter was heard saying on the radio.

Eva was sipping on her red wine when a call came through, " boss, it's done and he has been taken to the hospital." " Good find out which hospital now and send it via text, don't call this number ever again!" She said venomously. She got up and got ready. Her happiness knew no bounds.

When she reached the hospital, she switched her acting mode on to a loving wife. Her crying was spot on. After hearing that Romania was hurt seriously and lost a lot of blood, she went berserk. She couldn't accept this fact, she had to find another doctor to help him even if he could wake up for a few minutes so that he could sign the transfer papers. She needed to be the heiress to Romania Corp and she would be no matter what.

Tony received news that his sons had been in the explosion and he lost it. He shot all his bodyguards in close proximity and they all died on the spot. His madness was beyond sanity, but after one of his minions told him that Metolia was safe and brought in, he cooled down a bit and decided to use her. So she was assigned a room close to his to keep an eye on her until further notice.

Another legion close to Tony's hideout intercepted their call for a doctor. He was holding the real doctor hostage and was torturing him to do as he was told. The doctor agreed to help the man in front of him because he could sense that this man was more dangerous than his bastard employer who took his only daughter to use as leverage on him.

The doctor went with the plan and announced that Metolia had permanent amnesia. Only another fatal accident can trigger her memories. This seemed to satisfy Tony's anger and the damned man cooled down.

Tony was hell bent on framing his only sister to pay for the death of his sons. He planned to tip Douglas, who had been investigating Eva after the accident.

Two weeks later, a legion was sent to finish off Lia's plan and remove Ronia from the picture. All this time, Ronia's special doctor, who was hired by Eva, was a legion. He induced him into a comma and two weeks later he injected him with a drug that could stop his heart for an hour until all the burial procedures are done.

Douglas was devastated when he received the call from the hospital. He rushed there and ordered his body to be cremated. After the cremation, they gave him the ashes to go bury.

An hour later, Ronia came through and was secretly taken to Italy, although he wanted to see Lia before he went, but the legion in charge of him was hard to crack. Romania's life was his to protect and deliver him to his family back in Italy. This legion takes his missions more seriously than the rest.

Eva almost lost her sanity. " Where did I go wrong? How did it reach this point? I have nothing, no Romania , no company, no money." She repeated this over and over again and let out a blood-chilling scream. Well, this site would look awesome in a mental institution.

At this point, the FBI were closing in on her after getting enough evidence from Douglas and another anonymous source. She was apprehended and taken to one of the black sites for lock up until further notice. This was an order from above.

Tony was convinced by Lia's actions. The new Lia was very obedient, meek and not a push over. Tony loved this about her, so after he found out that Sarah was torturing them when they were kids, he planned to torture her to death for revenge. That woman hurt his children for stupid reasons, which woman doesn't go through a heart break!

Revenge is sweeter when the opponent is aware of it and they can do nothing about it!
