I felt my face heat up, my heart sink to my feet and my world crumble around me. I was completely shocked, so much so that I had collapsed onto the floor. "What...what did you say? If I thought I was in shock a while ago then I do not know how to describe what I felt when I saw dark blood seeping through his attire in that area. I had to hold my hand over my mouth when I realised a few moments later what was going on. I had...I had only heard about such things taking place int the palace but I had never really seen it myself. "Hyun..." "that's right..." he lamented in such a hardened tone so much unlike his own that was at a loss for words. "If you hadn't inferred, Yeon would me wife and her children would have been mine as well. But I was too late because of you! And now...now I cannot even hope to bear any children that will carry my family's legacy" he chuckled bitterly to himself as he was still bleeding onto the floor. I screamed and screamed until we had a horde of servants flooding the room, and I was in store for a bigger shock when I recognised two new servants I had under me; Nam-Kyu and her servant! And my brothers! And even...what what was my parents doing here? What on earth was going on? And why where my family all dressed as servants? But I was soon brought to my senses when my in-laws came bursting in the room, wondering what all of the commotion was about. When they saw what their son, their only child had been reduced to, the chose to take out their anger on me! Apparently I was the sole cause of all their family's calamity. His father slapped me so hard that I fell onto the ground whilst his mother started tearing my outfit apart in full view of my parents who didn't do or say anything to help me at all! Eventually she dragged me outside the manor by my hair before locking me outside in the cold! No-one dared to help me at all! I hadn't eaten for hours and I was freezing cold...just like what I had put through Yeon through...

Luckily I knew the courtyard inside out when I worked here so I knew where to go for shelter. But before I could take even half a step forward, I had noticed that the light was on in one of the main rooms where I had to be deaf not to hear what my in-laws were arguing out with Hyun-Ki. "Look at what you have become! Look at what we have had to endure with that...that obsessive gold-digging girl who will leech on our family juts like her parents and siblings already are! Do you know how many items have gone missing in only a couple of hours? Why? My world came to a stop then. Only a few hours after sunrise I was taken back into the home after sleeping in the cold, untouched to meet the Nam's to express our gratitude for our marriage. Yeon' husband didn't hold back in telling us that he had managed to save my husband's reputation in time but his colleagues didn't want to work with him anymore due to his erratic behaviour that I had no idea about.
