Fool's all of them

A day all but one hoped for happened and in the end powerless but accepting she strode forward unamused at all those on their knees praying for what, she did not understand. She did not know why these people seemed to be glad of their deaths and pray for "god" to end their suffering and sins. I sat on a chair held up by a cut string amused by the whole situation unaffected but the girl fought and... she saw the world and that thing for what it was, a representation of human reverence and emotion, a being godlike in a broken and cast aside world.

She fought with all her being to resist it one of the many outliers to. Just like her they saw themselves as complete and fine but they were just as broken if not more so than the world they were as being of infinite malice they hated with all their might for the "monster" that was trying to take their life away, whatever was left anyways. I wondered why she and all the others clinged to life but at the end of the day it did not matter...
