Chapter 92: Time Stopped for the Sake of Decisions

A couple of hours has already passed and the sun was already shining brightly, I was outside the hotel room; empty-handed, I couldn't find where Luna went.

In the end, I got my hopes up when Milicas cheered me on, what am I gonna do now? As of right now, I'm outside the room that we were staying in; afraid of what the outcome would be if I tell them what happened.

If only I could react faster then this wouldn't have happened at all... I would have not made Luna cry if I spoke to her, but my stupidity always gets in my way.

I opened the door slowly and took a peek, I saw everyone awake and it looks like they're waiting for me.

"Come inside Haruki." I almost jumped when Dawn spoke, I guess she saw me opening the door.

I went in with a forced smile and waved at them. "I'm back..." I said to them nervously.

Just by their faces everyone seems to know what has happened, so I can't hide it anymore, I could only confess to them.

I went to Dawn and bowed on the floor in defeat. "I'm sorry Dawn! If only I've never been so stupid, Luna wouldn't have run away!" Apologizing is the only thing I could do, I know that it won't fix anything but I have no other choice.

Dawn looked at me in disappointment and she let out a deep sigh. "What can you even do by apologizing Haruki? You're not at fault here, we are..." Dawn stood up and opened the door slowly. "I'm gonna fix everything... Now that things have got worse, I'll help Luna accept that she has the blood of an angel."

Before Dawn was about to leave, I shouted at her. "Wait! Where are you even gonna look for her? If you know where she has gone, then tell me!" If Dawn wants to help Luna accept her identity as an angel. then it's something I got to solve too. After all, Luna is someone dear to me, even if she's an angel, she's still a friend who's like a family to me.

"Tell me Haruki, what are you to Luna? I only remember you being friends with her for about 3 to 4 months while I, Dawn Dracula has been with her for 16 years, it's okay if you say that she's an important figure for you because of her position as the inheritor of the Archduke representative of the undead." Dawn stared at my eyes while she asked that, I felt intense pressure from her gaze when she asked me that.

It felt like time has stopped when she asked me that, my mind began to think of what Dawn meant. What am I to Luna? That's the question she asked me, of course, I already know the answer to that. Even if it's not my place to say this, because like Dawn has said, I've only been friends with her for about 2 months, so, normally, we won't have that much closure.

I gritted my teeth, clenched my hands, and closed my eyes shut. "Luna is someone I love and care for!" When I shouted that, everyone's mouth opened in surprise. "Luna is! Luna is a friend that I love deep inside my heart, like all of you! All of you here and our friends back on Hell are like my family, so I love all of you." I opened my eyes and took a look at all of them.

Dawn, gave me a surprised and disappointed smile, Miyu translated what I said to Ayame which also made both of their expression the same as Dawn, while all of the boys sighed and facepalmed their faces. "Hmm..? Is something wrong everyone..?"

"*Sigh* Nothing... Then I'll go to where Luna is then, while Lucas and Zephyrus will explain to you about Luna's past." Dawn left the room and closed the door in disappointment.

I looked behind me and smiled at the others, I asked them. "Did I say something wrong?"

[Zadkiel POV]

Zadkiel was inside Uriel's room with Uriel and Azrael who were displeased by what they heard from Zadkiel.

Azrael hearing about the task that Yahweh gave Zadkiel and the other three made him anxious about what was going to happen next.

"*Sigh* In the next 13 days you'll finally go to Japan..." Uriel said in displease. "Not only that but you were also tasked to apprehend Azrael's daughter, which is something I'm confused about. What is she doing on Earth? Most of all it's Japan of all places she can go, then there's got to be a reason why Luna is in Japan." Zadkiel knew that the devils are still planning to do something to get their revenge on the Gods, especially after hearing Haruki's speech.

So hearing those exact words of Haruki and Zadkiel knowing that the Japanese Gods are enemies against Yahweh, it only makes sense for him that they'll ask for their help.

But there's something also bothering him, he knew that the devils are kind-hearted beings just by interacting with them, so Zadkiel was battling with doubt right now.

He wants to believe that the devils are not allied with their enemies, after all in the knowledge of the angels, Poseidon and the Japanese Gods are the ones who are planning to destroy the world, while Zeus, his Lord, and the other Gods are the ones saving it.

But after Camael declared the 3rd rebellion against Yahweh and Satanael along with some Archdukes betraying Hell, Zadkiel became more confused about the current situation right now.

Zadkiel and the three other Archangels knew that Camael's rebellion against Heaven was just a facade that Yahweh created, which means that they are missing some sort of piece on this information.

"Yeah, which is why Cassiel and I are confused too, we can understand that she might want to have some rest so she went to Earth, but her choosing Japan can't be a coincidence right?"

"Then it got to be that the devils are planning something we don't know of, and since Luna is important to us we need to protect her from both Jophiel and Zhao Yun at all cost, but..."

Slam! Azrael slammed Uriel's table in anger. "I've decided, I'll go to Japan privately so that I can protect Luna."

"Then what are you gonna do next Azrael? What if Jophiel or the others saw you protecting Luna? Who is a dangerous individual that even our Lord acknowledges her as a threat."

"I don't care about if I get caught, as long as I get to protect Luna then that's enough for me already."

"If you get caught, you'll be branded as a traitor you know that?"

"What are you gonna do if I betrayed my Lord Uriel? Kill me?" Tension filled the air upon Azrael asking that to Uriel.

They stared at each other in the eyes quietly, while Zadkiel was having trouble fixing this mood.

Uriel stood up and went closer to Azrael's face. "Even if I was the one who first created this group, I'll tell you that I won't let anyone betray my Lord. Understand that Azrael?"

"*Tsk*" Azrael grabbed Uriel's collar aggressively and pushed him to the wall. "I don't care if you're the one who first thought of this group, but I won't let you stop me from doing what I want to protect my daughter, understand?!"

Zadkiel went near Azrael and was trying to stop him from gripping Uriel's collar. "Stop Azrael... Let's be peaceful okay?"

Azrael looked at Zadkiel in anger and asked. "Who's side are you on Zadkiel?"

"Side?" Zadkiel became confused by Azrael's sudden question, he couldn't think of an answer to say to Azrael so he could only remain silent.

"Answer Azrael's question Zadkiel, which side are you on? Do you side with me to stop Azrael to go to Luna and let her be or side with Azrael who'll protect Luna from the others and has a high chance to be branded as a traitor?"

"What are you, two kids? You know that I siding with anyone of you wouldn't do us any good."

"It would because your decision would do both good and bad to that dream of yours Zadkiel, Which would you pick? Apprehend Luna for the sake of Heaven or protect Luna and be a traitor to our Lord? Which one? It's either your family or your dream."

Azrael looked at Zadkiel in the eyes, and even if he's not doing it, Zadkiel could see that Azrael was begging for him to side with him.

Just by hearing what Uriel has said, Zadkiel's mind became blank. He wants to side with both of them, but he knew that it wasn't an option to do.

He knew that if he sided with Uriel he can get to see Jophiel smile, the same person who helped him calm down in many ways and he has made a promise to Barachiel to help protect Jophiel. While on Azrael's side not only he would get more closer to Azrael, but he would get to see Millie smile from the joy of peace, Zadkiel cared a lot about the devils after being acquainted with some of them, and one of those devils; Millie is someone he wanted to protect.

"I- I want to-"

"Hmm..? What's happening, everyone? Did something happen?" Before Zadkiel was about to decide on whose side he'll choose, someone disturbed him from answering. "It looks fun... Can I join later in this acting..?"

"Cassiel? When did you enter my room?" Uriel asked while still being pushed by Azrael on the wall.

"Hmm..? When did I? When did I? Meh, don't know... I came here to get Zadkiel and deliver a message." Cassie slowly took a note out of her pockets and started reading it. "The four great Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel are needed to go to Britain to help there."

Azrael let go of Uriel and teleported away. Uriel fixed up his clothes and created a portal. "Then if you may excuse me, I'll go there now." He entered the portal with a displeased smile at Zadkiel.

Finally, only the two angels Zadkiel and Cassiel were left in Uriel's room. "*Sigh* So what did you want to talk to me about?"

"Hmm... Nothing."

"*Sigh* Can you just tell me the purpose of you wanting to talk to me Cassiel? I'm kinda stressed right now..."

"Hmm... The truth is, I heard the wall-banging loudly outside, so I decided to enter Uriel's room; only to find out that Uriel and Azrael are fighting like kids and asking you to pick a side like kids."

"Thanks for saving me Cassiel, to be honest, you're a lifesaver."

"Hmm... Praise me more..." Cassiel was in joy being praised by Zadkiel and she was letting out a smug smile. "Anyway Zadkiel... Which side are you picking? It looks like you have decided to join either one of the two."

"I don't know... I'm confused right now... Before you disturbed me from answering their question, I was leaning on Uriel, but I know that's the wrong choice..."

Cassiel sat at Uriel's bed and looked at Zadkiel. "Then why not pick my side Zadkiel?"

Zadkiel smiled in disappointment when Cassiel told him that, he was already tired of thinking a side to choose from, and now he has another one to choose from.

He could only scratch his head in despair and ask her. "What are the pro and cons of joining your side Cassiel?" He knew that Cassiel wouldn't let him go without an answer, so he decided to answer her question.

"Hmm..? I wonder what it is? Oh, I know."

Zadkiel could only let out a tired sigh. He thought 'why would she only think about it now?' He knew that this was the typical Cassiel so he was holding out his annoyance.

"You can protect Luna and not be branded as a traitor while continuing this dream of yours for Heaven and Hell, but the problem is... Someone might die."

Zadkiel's heartbeat stopped for a moment after hearing what Cassiel said, he wanted to accept Cassiel's side but knowing that someone might die made him feel fear of joining. "What do you mean someone might die? What's gonna happen?"

"If you were to get Lord Sun Wukong's hair from the Eve Miyu Kishimoto, then you could clone yourself as a different being to protect Luna, but if the Gods were to see the hair being used they might kill the human Miyu Kishimoto."

"The Gods killing Miyu Kishimoto..?"
