Chapter 2

Olivia planned to check something at the bottom of the valley, "As a freelance, maybe I can take some pictures to add to my photo collection." she looked around, intending to find something to climb down the cliff.

However, just then the alarm sound from her cell phone went off. The girl immediately checked it, "Oh my, I have to go meet a client!" she exclaimed instantly.

Olivia was forced to postpone her intention and chose to go home, as she quickly left there to change her clothes into an office suit.

Olivia's daily life is not just a hobby and entertainment, but the woman has made it a source of income, she has made many summaries from several sources that she has learned and assembled them into a writing that is made into an ebook.

Lately, she is also working on a story about the supernatural world that makes her have to do quite a lot of research, so the client she will meet today is an agency from a publisher who happens to like the book Olivia made.

Now Olivia entered a building, with a work dress below the knee and a white blazer, making Olivia look very elegant.

This time her hair was left loose, with a little bandana ribbon on her head and a pair of silver high heels that she always used for her work.

that she always wears to

work.

Olivia saw someone sitting languidly in front of her desk. With a smile, Olivia tried to greet him with a happy expression.

However, instead of smiling, a folder was thrown at her, Olivia carefully opened it and saw sheets of documents that made her wonder.

Olivia read them one by one, until her eyes focused on a line of sentence that was written in bold. "The work on behalf of Olivia is rejected!"

The woman widened her eyes perfectly, her heart racing wildly. "Why is this..."

"Never mind, you have to revise your work, you only have a month until the story is finished, then you have to reread it to make sure it's free of spelling mistakes." he said sounding stern.

"What? A month? A 2000-page book is not an easy thing to revise in a month, can I ask for a little tolerance? I've been working on it for more than two months, please help me to revise my book." Olivia said with a pleading face.

"Fix everything, don't let the rambling plot dominate the content of your book." There was nothing Olivia could do but go home disappointed, their meeting only lasted a few minutes.

So Olivia chose to put the document into her bag. hufft, "This is harder than I thought." she complained as she headed home. Along the way she thought about where the book went wrong.

A group of young men were seen chatting at a rice stall in the middle of the village community center, Leon had just gone to look for firewood for the fireplace in his kitchen, he accidentally saw his friends while passing by the place. "Leon, after becoming a member of the ronda officer, you have absolutely no time to gather with us, even in this week I have only seen you once, is being a member of the community that busy?" a friend greeted with jokes and jokes.

Leon looked at their faces one by one. "I just feel tired and need to rest at home, that's all. There's no other element." he said with a smile, his mind returning to the plan. "Sorry, I have to go. Next time we get together again, okay?"

The young man left immediately after saying so, but suddenly a heavy rain fell. Leon began to frantically search for a place to take shelter. He looked at a dense tree and quickly ran to it.

Right now, he was protected from the rain. That was enough to make him feel happy.

Leon sat with his back leaning against the tree while looking at the falling raindrops. Seeing that made his hopes of finding firewood fade.

"Hu..." Leon exhaled a long breath while thinking, he then stood up from his seat, then walked as the rain began to subside, "I thought it would rain heavily, but it didn't."

Leon was very determined to do his work, "I need to find firewood, maybe these branches will be enough if they are gathered into one big bundle. So when I get home my time won't be wasted either." Leon said suggesting his thoughts.

Under the shady trees, Leon saw a lot of twigs and branches scattered around, then he picked them up one by one, once he had collected a lot of tree branches, he planned to leave, but he accidentally saw a silhouette behind one of the trees, "What is that shadow?" Leon asked the breeze.

His forehead frowned as his eyes squinted back at the silhouette standing behind a line of trees, he rubbed his eyes to see it better and he muttered in confusion, "How did it disappear?"

"Something went wrong. That shadow just disappeared all of a sudden. It really makes the hairs stand up." Fear raising the fine hairs on his skin, he cringed when he saw the shadow.

"Is that..." Leon asked softly while letting his gaze drift between the trees in the middle of the forest, but he quickly chased away his negative thoughts, "Never mind, the most important thing right now is that I can go home with branches for firewood."

Leon then left with a bundle of fairly dry branches, wondering about what he had seen earlier. "Do I have indigo sensitivity?" Fear, curiosity, all merged into one. Leon focused on the path he was on and discarded all the negative thoughts in his brain.

Olivia felt reluctant to do anything other than read the book, the pages that were opened displayed scenes in the re-arranged comic images.

In reading, her mind recalled the valley that made her curious. "I better go there, I'm sure there's something there." Olivia thought to herself.

Tap! She immediately closed her book until it made a sound, "As a freelance, maybe I can take some pictures to add to my photo collection." she immediately changed her clothes, then she immediately left her residence.

Fortunately, Olivia was already familiar with the forest conditions 500 meters away from her home location, after returning to meet the client yesterday, Olivia was stuck for ideas in her current situation. "Maybe by taking a walk in the forest, bright ideas will come to me." She thought positively before actually going too far into the forest.

However, on the way she felt the direction of the place was a little different, "I might get lost," she thought to herself.
