Chapter 6 Attack Raphael at Night

Lying on the soft and comfortable bed, Akasha stared at the ceiling above her, unable to fall asleep.

She had been sleeping in a cold and hard coffin in the castle, and she had to close the lid before sleeping. Now in this place full of humans' smell, the open space made her uncomfortable.

The wine that she drank at the dinner party was rising in her body, but the hunger deep in her heart was still not alleviated, and it was getting stronger and stronger.

The smell of pure blood lingered in Akasha's mind. The only thought left in her mind was that she must get pure blood and become a human!

Akasha felt that she smelled the intoxicating blood fragrance again, which was stronger than that in the restaurant.

Her body was engulfed by hunger, and the desire for pure blood was roaring in her body, occupying every vein of her. Akasha could no longer bear it. She wanted to find out whether Raphael was the blood owner she had been looking for for a long time.

This was the only hope for her to become a human. She would not let go of any possibility.

The night was a vampire's time, and all the senses became sharp. The night activities were very friendly to her. She opened the window and followed the sweet wind to Raphael's room.

The incandescent lights in Raphael's room were still on, making the room as bright as day.

"Hasn't Raphael gone to bed yet?" Standing outside the window carefully, she took a deep breath. She was afraid that Raphael would find her out.

But she wouldn't give up. She must get Raphael's blood tonight! She encouraged herself secretly.

She slowly opened the window and peeped into the room through a small crack.

Under the light, the layout of the room could be seen clearly.

In the middle of the room, there was a bed. The quilt bulged. From the head of the black hair, Akasha could know the person on the bed was Raphael.

She sneaked into the room. Raphael breathed evenly as if he had fallen asleep.

Standing in front of Raphael's bed, she held her breath and observed Raphael's reaction. Then she pulled back his quilt one point one.

Akasha had wanted to find Raphael's wound, but when she lifted the quilt and saw Raphael's slender neck, Akasha was stunned. Raphael's skin was unusually fair, and the blue veins under his skin could be seen. The pleasant smell continued to waft into her nose. She took a deep breath. It was a little like litchi wine, sweet and intoxicating, different from all kinds of blood she had smelled before.

Finally, she understood why vampires liked to bite prey's neck. Humans' necks were so beautiful, and their meridians were full of life energy.

"Have you seen enough?"

Raphael's throat knots rolled, and there was weariness in his hoarse voice.

Akasha was so frightened that her hand trembled. The quilt fell and covered Raphael's head. Raphael stretched out her hand to pull her head out and said expressionlessly with a frown.

"You disturbed my sleep." He complained impatiently.

"Damn it! He's awake!" Although she was flustered, she pretended to be calm. She swallowed and comforted herself silently, "Don't be afraid. It's just food in front of me now! And I haven't bit him!"

"Why are you in my room?" Raphael lifted the quilt, sat up, rubbed her eyes, and said lazily.

"He doesn't seem to be angry?" Taking a glance at Raphael, Akasha heaved a sigh of relief. 'He looks relaxed and kind,' she thought.

"Can I ask him for a little blood?" Akasha felt that hope was right in front of her. She forced a smile, trying to be friendly.

"Sorry to bother you! I..."

Raphael stood up and gave a scornful smile before she could finish her words.

"Did my uncle send you here? Hey, you can't wait to throw yourself at me on the first day. How anxious you are!"

"No!" How could she throw herself at a human who was still her food! Shaking her head, Akasha explained with a blush. "I came by myself. I want to ask you for one thing."

"Oh, what's up?" Raphael raised his eyebrows and became interested.

"Can you let me bite you and take a sip of your blood? Don't worry. You won't become a blood servant." She was a little nervous, but she looked at Raphael expectantly.

"Bloodsucking? Are you a vampire?" Raphael didn't look surprised, as if he had seen a vampire before.

"Yes! Aren't you afraid of me?" Akasha was a little surprised. He seemed to be too calm.

"Afraid? Why should I be afraid?"

Raphael smiled and sat back on the bed. At least she was the most innocent vampire he had ever seen.

In his eyes, Akasha was not a threat at all. Her strength was not worth mentioning, and her sharp teeth were as short as tiger teeth. He even doubted if she could pierce human skin. And her thoughts were so easy to guess that they were all written on her face.

Her blue eyes were wide open, reflecting shock and fear. He suddenly wanted to tease her and see how she would react.

Raphael stood up and approached Akasha. Raphael was tall and easily covered Akasha under him.

"Of course, I'm not afraid, because I'm a Blood Hunt!" The demon whispered in her ear.

She only felt a shadow covering her body. Then she heard the voice that made her dizzy. With her eyes wide open, she looked up at Raphael in disbelief and tried to keep a safe distance from her.

However, Raphael held her shoulders tightly with one hand, preventing her from moving. A shiny knife appeared in her other hand, slowly moving down from her face to her fragile neck.

Akasha began to regret breaking in. How could there be Blood Hunt in this world? It was because she was too careless that she thought there was no vampire in the world. She tried to calm down and think about how to get out of the trap.

Akasha quickly squatted down and reached out to block the knife that was coming at her. Then she ran out of the room.

Raphael watched her leave. He smiled happily. What an arrogant little hedgehog. Let she go for the time being. Since she was interested in pure blood, it was not too late to wait for her to fall into the net.
