While the investigation in the forest area was going on, back in the shop a notification appeared in Lin Feng's mind.

Lin Feng was surprised by this. He had completely forgotten about the lottery function of the system. He started speaking to the system in his mind.

"System, I want to draw a lottery."

Suddenly a large panel appeared in front of Lin Feng. On the panel there was a roulette with 10 slots. The largest slot took most of the roulette while the smallest slot was as thin as needle. The roulette started spinning for a few seconds before the arrow stopped on the third largest slot.

Lin Feng removed this item from his subspace and began inspecting it.

Description: A mystical Monocle that allows its user to see through the nature of some magic. Its only effective up to Tier 6 magic and on certain kinds of magic.

Note: It's a fragment of a Divine item.

Lin Feng was stunned. It was certainly useful item but what shocked Lin Feng was the fact that it was a fragment of a Divine item. What did this mean? There was a grade above Mythical and it was the Divine grade.

Lin Feng asked the system a question.

"System, how many points to the use the Lottery."

[Ding! 10 points to draw the lottery each time.]

Lin Feng grinned. This was the cheapest thing the system had given him. Lin Feng started to use the lottery but soon realized why it was so cheap. He had used the lottery 10 times but only managed to draw 3 items, two mana recovery potions and a Magic scroll engraved with Tier 1 Combat Magic. He had no use for the magic scroll so he decided to put it in the shop for sale. Yang Chen who was organizing some books on magic theory in an orderly fashion did not see this.

That is when a girl walked in the shop. It terms of appearance she was a temperamental beauty whose age was around Lin Feng's. Her hair was white in color and she had a decent figure. There was a cold but calm expression on her face. Yang Chen who saw her was stunned but Lin Feng merely smiled upon when he saw her. This girl was Chen Lianxin, the daughter of Marquis Chen and Lin Feng's childhood friend.

After exchanging some greetings, they began chatting.

"Brother Lin, tomorrow the recruiters from Fēnglong Academy will be arriving. I will be participating in the recruitment and enter the Academy." Chen Lianxin told Lin Feng.

"Congratulations." Lin Feng responded with a smile. This was natural as Chen Lianxin was considered by many to be the number one genius among the younger generation. Apart from Lin Feng she was the only one to enter the Advance Mage realm at the age of sixteen.

Chen Lianxin's cold face let out a smile. As childhood friends they had grown up together. Although there were no feelings of love, they were best friends and could also be considered as siblings.

After talking for a while and informing Lin Feng of her future plans Chen Lianxin left.
