" ok which machine should we start with first "

" well let us see your power level first "

astin then went closer to the machine and got ready to punch the machine. and when he did it showed the number 4200. almost double what he had showed the previous time.

sergeant Leon was inspecting him while not saying anything to him but simply moving to the next machine.

astin then started his next exam by moving away all the punches coming at him and dodging and this time he made it to 10 minutes.

" I think we are done here sir how did I do "

" who said we are done ? there is still one exam left and it's the combat exam"

"but sir there is no one here for me to fight"

"you sure about that ? "

suddenly a fist was coming straight at him but astin barely dodge it making a small scratch at his chicks .

" I will be your opponent so you better not hold back "

"but sir"

"don't worry I lowered my power level to 5000 so it won't be that big of a deal "

astin was hastening at first but then started to think about it

" sir will I get anything if I win ? "

"of course you will and don't worry it will be a better this time , and to make it easier land 5 hits on me and you will be the winner. how does that sound ? "

astin started to read the quest and started to think of a strategy in order for him to win and complete the quest. good thing for him is that he can use his air bullets since he used it in the last fight since even sergeant Leon didn't even notice him use it.

[astin I think you should use your chains in this fight]

'you crazy what do you think he will do if I just took out chains out of no where and used it on him ? '

[ who said he can see them ? no one can see them except for me and you and it won't wound him . they could only make a 5% depuff nothing more and nothing less. so you are safe to use them if you want ]

once astin heard what jams said he knew that now he had a bigger advantage . but he is still fighting an A rank which is something he didn't think he will fight yet .

"are you ready yet astin tray ? "

"yes sir"

"then let's start now"

astin then went forward to land a hit on his opponent only to be kicked by his opponent. that kick pushed him back a little but his plan wasn't to attack him .

astin plan was working out perfectly fine for now. sergeant Leon doesn't seem to notice what astin did to him and there isn't any wound on him where the chain hit stabbed him. so all he had to do now is defeat his opponent before the time on his buff runs out.

sergeant Leon then started to make an attack on him. but this time astin was able to dodge his attacks with no problem and started to attack back. which made sergeant Leon shocked for how his opponent was stronger and had the upper hand all of a sudden and also him feeling that he got a little weaker all of a sudden. this continued for 5 minutes and astin was showing signs of slowing down even sergeant Leon was showing those signs too. but once again astin suddenly was getting the upper hands and an attack was landed on Sergeant Leon making a small cut on his checks which made sergeant Leon break the rules and use more power then what he was allowed to use. but he snapped out of it and tried to lower the strength of his next attack but was to late since the attack was almost making connect to his opponent. but his attack was bounced away by somehow. that made him loss his guard which gave astin the chance to attack he was able to land one hit but the next hit stopped by sergeant Leon hand.

"this fight is your win astin tray"

"but sir I still didn't land fiv"

"it's ok I broke the rules and used more power then what I was suppose to use"

astin was getting a lot of notifications so he ignored it for the time being and wait for the best time to check them out.

"astin tray here is your reward 1 million points"

"but sir isn't that too much for a reward ?"

"well that's an extra reward for your excellent performance. you earned that money with your hard work so accept it"

"thank you sir"

there was then a moment of silence between the two but then sergeant Leon said

"say Mr. tray have you ever thought of what you're going to do when you finish military school?"

"no I still don't know what I wanna do after I finish military school. but 3 years is more than enough time for me to think about it"

"that's good to hear. well I don't wanna keep you here any longer the exam have been officially finished"

"now you will be teleported out of here any second and you will be with the other students and I hope you good luck"

"thank you sir"

now the room was empty and silence leaving Sergeant Leon all alone. but not too long since someone else came in.

"you know it would've been good if you tried to recruit him right?"

"he has more then enough time to think about it. but if he still doesn't decide what to do after those 3 years then I'll try to recruit him"

"this won't do Leon. a talented person like him can't be discovered very often. but I still have to trust you on this"
