CHAPTER 14 THE SHOP

when astin used his inspect skill on the twins he wasn't surprised about their stats since they told him they were B rank, so he wasn't surprised about their stats. but only one thing caught his attention and that was there ability

this was his first time hearing an ability like this. he thought about asking the twins but then he changed his mind since they might ask him to many questions and astin didn't like to be asked to many questions.

"astin what do you feel like eating?"

"Anything will be fine for me"

after astin and twins finished getting their food they sat down and started eating but the only thing that was different is that astin was devouring his food and he finished eating in seconds after he finished, he saw the two dumbfounded twins that was looking at him.

"I think I'm going to get more"

after he came back, he brought food that was enough for 10 people!!!

at this point everyone started to look at him with a dumbfounded look on their faces.

"Um astin do you really think you can finish all that?" asked the twins

"I don't know. I think I should've gotten more"

"astin I didn't know you had that big of an appetite. I didn't see you eat that much at yesterday."

"Oh, I wasn't that hungry yesterday that's why haha"

' James what in god's name did you turn me into!!!!!'

[hahaha. well, if there is something we undead love then it's eating since everything taste delicious not to mention we don't get full se we keep eating more more]

even astin couldn't deny the fact that the food tasted way to good and even though he ate a full plate. he felt like he didn't eat a thing!

'I need to control myself'

after astin ate the ten other plates. he was able to control the urge to eat more and left with the twins to walk around the hospital.

"I always thought about this the first day we came here" said astin

"About what?" asked the twins

"Where are we exactly?"

"I don't know to be honest. I thought about this too but after a while I just let go." said nick

" Even I tried to look around, but I was forbidden to look around specific areas," said marches

"There might be a way for us to find out." marches said and after that he pressed a few buttons on his watch. Then, a poster was projected from his watch.

"In two weeks, we will be going on a group mission. Where we will be hunting beasts and group that hunted the most will get a tour around the forbidden areas in the military school and other rewards"

"Do we have to join the mission?" asked astin.

"yeah, they will give us this this kind of missions from time to time and the problem is there is a chance that we will die in there. But the good news is that we can our own teams the military won't be the ones to choose who goes with who. With that said it will be better if you be in our team astin." said nick

'If only they knew I was as strong as them.'

"Well, I won't refuse if it's you guys that wants me on their team"

"Well, I think it's time for us to head back since it's almost 10 pm"

Astin started to look at the time and saw that it was 9:30 pm. the three bid their farewells

Once Astin opened the door to his room at the hospital. He a man waiting for him wearing a white coat.

"Astin tray?"

"Yes, that's me"

"Please rest on your bed till I finish"

"Ok sir"

While astin rested on his bed the doctor proceeded to check on him using some machines.

"Well, that's weird even though you look pale the scans show nothing wrong." Said the doctor while looking shocked and then he continued. "But the problem isn't here yesterday we were only able to remove 80% of the poison and after a couple of tests we made sure that the remaining 20% won't affect you till tomorrow. So, we wanted to proceed and remove the rest tomorrow. But the rest of the poison is gone like it didn't exist."

"Stay here I'll be right back" and before I could answer him, he left the room running.

"'sigh' looks like he's going to take some time

'I might as well check my notifications since he might take some time' astin didn't check the notifications that he had since the day he entered the military school.

while checking he's notifications he took note that he got two new skills which is [the invisible barrier] and [mana refinement] which were very helpful for astin in many ways. while he's other two skills [air bullet] and [the chains of punishments] leveled up which made their mana cost go up.

astin kept looking and skipping all the level-up messages when one message caught his eye. It was a message saying that he unlocked the [SHOP].

and without even asking for James. I said the word [shop]. then something unexpected happened a book fell out of nowhere on my hands. I started to rub my had because of the book that fell out of nowhere on my head. when I held the book, I read its title and it was [the shop] and when I read the name of the book author it contained the name James tarnvir

when I opened the first page, I saw a picture of a sword below it were the description of the sword.

"that's quite ok for a weapon" when astin said that there was a hint of disappointment in his voice.

astin followed James's advice and flipped the pages of the book till he got to the rare weapons.

astin started flipping the pages of the book and went from the weapons to the armors part and he kept flipping till he got to the materials part. there he found many kinds of materials he never heard of before and after looking for a while he found the dark iron that he needed.

[Yes, you can use the same points that you humans use as currency and just think about buying it]

but before astin could do that he remembered that in one of his quests he got 10000 points James said it was already stored in the SHOP and he can use them whenever he wanted to. astin then proceeded to buy 5 dark irons using up all those 10000 points and I found all the dark iron stored in my storage and before I could anything else I heard the door of my room being opened.
