"You are late again, what the fuck is wrong with you?" Mia questioned the moment Kai appeared inside the dark room.

It was already night and another time for the five matrices to gather once again to share their thoughts on how to keep moving forward without any failure.

They are all back to their respective owner's bodies, which rightfully belong to them.

Kai's face turned red, remembering what had made him late.

Seeing the burning red face of Kai, Mia already knows what he was thinking about.

"Are you seriously doing this when your own life is in danger?" Mia furiously said.

"Common!... not like I was the one that went looking for them, he offered it to me you know I can't say no to such a gift"

"To top it up the most, they are all professional in that. I enjoyed my back then" Kai said while going to sit down on his chair while crossing one of his legs over the other.

"What are you guys talking about anyway," Red asked with curiosity.

What Mia and Kai had been saying sounded strange and interesting to him so he decided to inquire about the case himself.

"What...! Even you... Since when did you start getting interested in women's cases?" Mia asked.

"Since the day I saw a hot and beautiful one," Red replied. Saying that Red looked at Kai and said.

"Why didn't you call me this time around, or do you do so only when you are about to fight" 

Kai scratched his head in embarrassment.

"I didn't know you would like such things," he said...

"What are you talking about?... Am I, not a man also, what made you think that I would not like to be cheering out some hot babes" Red rebuked.

A loud scary voice sounded, interrupting Purple who had just wanted to say something.

The room became silent like it would be when they heard the voice.

Just then from the old black and white TV set in front of the five matrix, the skull appeared with its gaze locked onto Kai.

< Greetings Matrix >

Even with the greeting, none of them dared to say a word.

' I thought I could stand up to him without being frightened, but I was wrong. This skull man is the most terrifying person I have met so far.

Mia thought to himself. Meanwhile, Kai was being looked upon by the skull gaze, and could not even have a proper thought in his mind.

The skull gaze shifted from him to the next person which was Mia. This continues till eventually, every one of them faces the gaze of the skull man.

< You all have done well so far, start with you.> The skull gaze faced back to kai.

<The number 1 matrix has gone into the enemy base and is currently causing a wave of an impression on them. One fateful day, this might be an advantage to you in the future times>

< Not only that but you also defeat advanced tie beasts which are pretty impressive if it accounted for your level> 

The mention of the beast level was something new to the five matrix but they did not dare to interrupt the skull with questions.

< Though, you did not retrieve the Beast Crystal, what you have done is enough to get yourself a good reward from me> said the skull before facing someone near Kai.

< Number 2 matrix has done a great job too> The skull smiled but this was meant to cheer Mia up but it ended up sending shivers down his spine.

< You have successfully gotten both you and your group of folk into another enemy base, and you have also created a good impression on them and they are looking at you four with expectations and pride. You must not disappoint them, show them that you are far greater than they were anticipating>

Mia could only nod his head.

< You have gotten yourself quite a good reward from me > the skull said and looked at Purple.

< You haven't done anything impressive yet but I will take it because you were not given the chance>

Purple's expression changed that instant, he knew that he had not been doing anything much on his own.

< Even at that, still have something special for you> 

Purple nodded his head as he thought about what might be given to him.

Facing Red, the skull smiled.

< I will be giving you a title soon >

'That it's?... Just like that, no praises.' Red thought in his mind as he grinds his teeth back and forth.

To him, he thought that he was looked down upon by the skull, but one person knows that it was not the case here.

Now facing green, who is practically the last one, the expression of the skull is complex as none of them can tell if he is happy or not.

< You are trying to build something big, and you don't want others to know about this> The skull finally said something, but none of the five matrices understood him, only green.

"Yes," Green replied.

< You want a separate space for yourself? And I will grant you the ability to do that>

He said that way back to his original way of talking as he looked at the five while saying out loud.

< After today, I will be visiting once in two days, and when I come back, I will want to see all your scores greater than that of today. Anyway, less I forgot, step forward to the DVD player alphabetically starting from the number one >

Saying that Kai stood up from his seat and went forward and placed his as the DVD set opened up, not the disk drive slot but it was like a white hand presenting the gifts to them one after another.

Soon, the five matrices all got their presents with smiles on their faces while they left the dark room.

But shortly after Green got back to his body, he was called to the dark room again.

The room he was brought to was the same dark room but in the corner, green could see a door.

What he saw amazed him.

It was just a green light dim room with a few computers and experimental equipment that was set neatly.

" Can I allow the others inside here?" Green asked.

< It's all to you. Anyone you want inside will come and anyone you don't want inside will leave>

Green nods his head in response as he quickly gets to work, not minding to sleep again.
