The end of matrix.

In the first place, Leo also had access to the Nate system, however, his was special. Just the others lost their system when the evaluation started, Leo didn't lose his own, thus he could not manipulate it like usually did before.

Regardless, he could still see Nate progress in his evolution. The other one was nearly done with his evolution. It was a good thing he started it the evaluation days back because Leo didn't know just how long it could have taken him.

Meanwhile, despite the joy within him, Leo know that he was still not going to join the fight. He was already in the final phase of his evolution and this phase normally takes its own time.

Meanwhile, Mark and his group of scientists were not idol. The group were already looking for a solution to their one disadvantage on the battlefield.

A nose mask was being produced in the hope it could at least reduce the alluring smell of whatever the colonizer was doing.

"Just how are we meant to mass produce this thing ?" Someone asked.

Mark started to think, they have successfully created a mask that will completely shut down their sense of smell.

"We don't have to... All we need is someone like Michael." Mark said.

Michael was someone with the ability to multiply. He can multiply any material into different numbers. Not long, he was called and he used his power on the mask.

With the nose mask on, all the zombies were out again and this time with fires burning in their eyes.

Meanwhile, The five matrix were now busy overseeing how the fight was going. They have prepared well for this, it's just that Nate and his group caught them by surprise.

"The beast no doubt is stronger than most, but their recovering speed is something else and any time they recover, they seem to get stronger than before," Kai stated.

However, what surprised Peter was that rather than a clean cut, he instead felt a collision with something hard. It was then he realized something.

Underneath Mia's cloth was an armour and at the moment Peter's attack hit, it started to glow in power.

Peter immediately retreated only to see that Mia was coming after him with his fist out. Peter made a few swings at Mia's chest again but nothing happened and the latter struck him in his chest.

Peter felt the impact. It was then he could tell another thing. The armour Mia was wearing was absorbing all his strikes while using it to power Mia.

Peter first distanced himself further away from Mia and then looked at the others.

"What... You never expected us to have the ability to fight back, you think we have just been sitting around only making our soldiers stronger without getting stronger ourselves?" Mia asked. He loved the expression on Peter's face.

Peter smiled. "You can absorb hits, then absorb this!" Peter shouted. He called out his sickle and then infused it with his bloodline power and then charged forward.

Mia seeing this also went in for an attack on Peter's head. But suddenly, the latter vanished from his sight. All he could see next was the outline of a sickle brazing with fire as it connected to his stomach.

Blood splashed as Mia fall to his knees in pain.

"Ohhh... Your armour was not able to save you," Peter lamented.

However, as he said this, the other matrix nearby was shocked by something. It was the fact Mia's body was not turning into dust.

"Something is not right, everyone run!" Green shouted however, as he turned to flee, the shadow of the scythe fall upon him slicing him clean from head to toe.

Green has been killed, this was not the usual death matrix that will often happen and they will reincarnate after twenty-four hours. This was an actual death. Their consciousness was not returning to the dark space anymore.

Meanwhile, Red who have being killed earlier couldn't believe his eyes after Green didn't appear inside the dark room. He quickly reported back.

Mia was still crouching on the floor with his hand on his stomach when the report came.

"What do you mean by that, green has not died throughout this week and the last one...!" Mia said.

"I know, that's why I found it strange that his not back here," Red said.

"Shit... What is the skull head doing, why is he silent now," Mai shouted.
