Beast's evolution levels were still confusing to Nate, so far, he knows that the zombie evolution level was not measured the same as a beast, for example, He has never gotten any system message regarding a zombie level that's not classified his stages. Whereas, beasts were classified on many levels.

Of course, he has no idea how many high-level beasts were out there, he had always been relying on the system to inform him of any high-level beast presence that he hadn't faced before. However, the deer before him was emitting a strong energy out of its body that is intimidating to anyone close to it.

But Nate was a zombie, although he could feel the energy, so he wasn't afraid. Rather, he was taking position behind a tree. It was slowly getting dark though, but Nate could still see. Aside from that, they were something else that Nate was having advantage of.

It was a good thing for Nate since he could take advantage of this and launch a sneak attack on the beast.

The beast's back was facing its back at Nate while it bites down on the flesh of the wolf. Nate wasn't able to see the beast's face because of this but he know it was a deer because of the antler horn that was visible to him.

Nate tried his blend himself with the darkness as he does ready for a surprise attack. 'I hope a strike will be able to finish this off, ' Nate thought as he got ready to swing his sabre at the deer.

What Nate didn't know was that at the same time, on the opposite side were two men getting ready to attack the same beast.

"What are you waiting for, kill the beast," Cab said to Zuni.

"Can't you see am trying to concentrate here," Zuni replied as he was pointing a sniper rifle at the deer.

Just as he was about to shoot, a figure appeared right behind the two. "What are you two doing here?" the figure said startling both Cab and Zuni.

Bang!!!

Out of shock, he pulled the trigger, and the worst thing was that he missed the target. "Quick, let's get out of here," Zuni said as he started running backwards.

Cab followed in as the two dare not to stay back. Meanwhile, the figure that suddenly appeared didn't know why the two were behaving in such a way till he saw what of ahead of him.

The daring beast shifted its attention towards Cab and Zuni's direction and the figure was what it saw. "Shit, the Frost head," the figure cursed and followed after Cab.

Meanwhile, Nate suddenly heard a gun sound before seeing the deer running towards the direction of leaving its meal.

'What was that?' Nate wondered. However, he soon went after the deer. "I don't know what just happened, but I can't let that beast go just like that, I need to complete this test who knows when next I will see the such beast again," Nate said to himself as he ran through the snow.

With the help of the cloak and his blending skill, he was quite fast moving in the darkness and soon, he was slowly catching up to the deer.

While Nate might be finding it easy to run in the snow, two people weren't seeing it that's why. Cab was still a normal human while Zuni might be superhuman, but he wasn't based in the speed class. The only person that wasn't finding it hard was the third person that even brought all the mess in the beginning.

The figure was covered in furs as it runs from one tree branch to another. "It's unfair, you guys should do something else I might be eaten by the monster!" Cab yelled out for help.

Once in a while he would look back and could still see the beast running towards him with clear madness in its eyes.

Just then, in one of this moment he was looking back, he tripped and started falling towards the side of the snow that has formed a small mountain.

He managed to get up, but on doing so, he couldn't find the others. Where he has fallen to was a bit too dark. "Zuni!!!" he shouted only to hear his echo sound.

However, after a short moment, he could hear another echo come. "Cab! Where are you!" he echoes said. Cab recognized the voice and started to follow it, but it was at that moment, the deer suddenly appeared before him.

"No... No... No! I don't want to die, please don't kill me," Cab pleaded, however, the beast was not showing any sympathy at all and rushed in at him.

Its jaw was opened and ready to bite down on him, but, it was at this moment, a figure jumped out from the darkness and sent a kick at the beast's side.

The kick was powerful that the beast was chucked to the side as it slide through the snow.

"Sin, is that you?" Cab asked as he looked at the person that just saved him, the person has a black cloak covering his entire body leaving a small part of his face visible. Dual to this, he has mistaken the man for someone else.

"Go find your friends," Nate said to the Cab before rushing towards the deer. He did think much about what Cab said.

Meanwhile, Cab felt the confidence in the stranger's voice when he was sent off. 'I should find Zuni first and then that idiotic altered human being,' Cab thought as he rushed towards the direction Zuni's voice was coming from.

Meanwhile, Nate has just gotten the privacy he needed as he inspects the beast.

The system never notified him when seeing the beast rather was after the beast has noticed him. He was also told that the beast crystal will be going for making a weapon.

Then the last was that he has to kill it, in return for a silver medal.

Meanwhile, the beast quickly got up and it was at this moment Nate was able to see the beast's face.

Two large fangs spiked out from both the up and down teeth of the deer, and its mouth was covered in blood, which most likely belongs to the beast it was fisting on before he was getting interrupted.

However, what stood out from the deer's body was its horn. Its antler started to glow in an azure light as it grows in size and extend more out and more branches were being formed.

"That's an interesting power you have there," Nate commented before swinging his sabre at the deer.

Normally, the thread line as fast as they travel towards the deer intending to finish it off real quick. However, the deer stamped its feet on the snow and three ice pillar raised and formed a barrier in front of the deer.

When the line hit the pillars, it did close to nothing as it fade away.

Seeing this, Nate's mind was going wide, and the thought of a weapon he will make out from the beast crystal started to pop into his mind.
