Zuni and Cab were just too close to each other in teams of relationship out of all the five top leaders, in short, they were friends and among these friends, one just witnessed the death of the other, however, it turned out that it was not the case, they had discovered that one of them was a superhuman which on a normal day will call for celebration, who doesn't want to have a superpower, especially in a situation that one was needed desperately, however, the two know that they have an important task to complete first before celebrating.

But just when they thought things will go smoothly since one was now a superhuman, it turned out to be the opposite, at least that's what they thought when seeing the man inside the lab.

It was a slime-tall man with black coiled hair, the man was wearing an eyeglass that was pulled down to his pointed nose, and he was also wearing a white lab coat.

"Where have you been hiding you pieces of shit," Zuni said while walking forward to the man but was pulled back by Cab.

"Don't feel so carefree, he might be with them," Cab said as he looked at the man suspiciously. The man before them was someone they know fully well before the whole apocalypse event started, in fact, he had even warned them about something like this will be happening but his speeches were taken as nothing.

"So, after a long time, you decide to show up at a time like this, tell me, are you the one leading them, you better say the truth," Cab said as he pointed the jagged blade at the man.

Taking a deep breath the man shook his head a few times before looking at them, " Though I own no explanation to you two, however, since you two are willing to help, I will give you guys some tips, forget about carrying this war on, it's useless, I will advise you to use the remaining time to find your way out of this place," the man said as he turned his back on them.

Out of anger, Cab rushed in and swung the blade, however, the blade went through the man's body as if it was nothing but air, and they were no blood after. Seeing this, Cab took a step back atrociously.

"How did that happen?" he asked as he kept on taking steps back till he eventually dumped into Zuni.

"I thought you have seen things way frightening like this, like what is more frightening than seeing someone with a dagger on his chest yet behaving as if nothing happened,"

Zuni already know that those words were directed at him. Eventually, Cab got a grip on himself as he looked at the man. "If you are not with them, then what are you doing here, why are you here at a time like this," though it was obvious that the man was not an enemy, Cab was still alert.

"I'm here to gather some pieces of information based on what progress this base had made scientifically," the man said as he kept on looking into records.

"Now that sounds like an enemy," Cab grabbed the blade once again.

"You can go ahead and hit me, but just know one thing, you can't touch me," the man said as he kept looking through the records.

Cab know the man was right, for some reason, either the man has a superpower that makes him phase through an object, or even living beings, and with such power, no matter how fast or strong Cabs strikes were, they will never touch the man.

After thinking about this Cab decided to be polite for once. "Why do you want us...I mean, why do you advise us to leave the base, the fight is not yet over and we need to find... What was I thinking," Cab seems to have remembered something and was ready to leave with Zuni when the man called back.

"It's of no use, even with that, it won't be enough," the man said.

Can be stopped on his track, " What are you saying?"

"They are five superhumans that the boss is planning to use as a trump card in this war but I assure you it won't be enough," the man said as he turned around, from the looks of it he was done with whatever he was doing.

"What makes you think so?" Cab questioned. Putting aside the question of how the man even got to know about this information, Cab was angry that the man just said that the trump card was useless.

Honestly, on a normal day, he would have just ignored the man but, the former had warned them about something circumstance that they ignored, and now it was killing them. He was afraid that the man's prediction might be the case, and lastly, he was afraid of losing a home.

Surely, if another power was to take over the base, their high positions will be replaced by someone else, and he was afraid to see such a thing happen, that's why he throw a question at the young man.

"Because the enemy you are going against is one of the disasters I said about, so if you still want to prove your loyalty to Sin, then find a way to get him out from that fight instead of conducting it, as for how to escape, I will help guys on that,"

Nevertheless, out of all that the man just said one thing confusing the two.

Meanwhile, outside obviously, it was clear that the fight was that of one side. Despite the amount of ammunition Sin base had, they were being pushed back.

The reason for this though is not because they weren't using them, instead, it was been used on them, and most of their trusted men were now fighting against them.

It could be said that Kai made a smart choice by starting from the inside. Rone and Tina before he die had successfully got a handful of people to wear the rings, they were even those that were wearing gloves and boots that had the matrix blood. Even at that, Rone was still busy convincing more people.

Based on the situation outside, it was faster for him to do this because when people had that it will increase their power, and many were rushing toward him, hopefully, they were thinking maybe with the power they can turn the tide of the war, but little did they know that it was getting worse.

Regardless, Sins men are not weaklings by any means, they were all professional fighters and that's why most of the hard-working ones are living a good life in the base and when thinking about their home being invaded, gives them more reason to fight and win this wall at all cost.

However, the five matrices still have five people that none of those with Sin was able to match up in strength and speed, but that won't be for long.

Batt, one of the five top leaders has been giving some headaches to his men and the worst part of it is that his men could not gather the will to strike back since he was their leader.

He was in the middle of crushing one of his men that had fallen into his hand, he was strangling the man when from the skyscraper that Sin leaves, the shattering sounds of glass could be heard as five silhouettes could be seen falling from the sky.

Batt was about to look up when something hit him forcefully that he was sent deep into the solid ground crushing the man beneath him with only his back showing.

A thin leg with scaled skin that has sharp fingernails like an eagle had just landed on top of Batt.

Looking up to the owner of the leg, one could see a man covered with a white feather on his body, on his mouth was a sharp red beak mouth like an eagle, a white wing on his back, and lastly was its yellow glowing eyes that looked directly into Batts eye.
