What's going on here?

Astrea's alarm woke her up by six thirty prompting her to get ready for school,she jumped into the shower and took a cold shower to wake her up because it didn't matter how long she slept she would still be tired the next morning .

She came out of the shower in a robe and decided to wear a pair of light blue jeans and a fluffy pink cashmere sweater, which she paired with a pair of white sneakers . She decided to style her hair in space buns .

She put her books into her bag , strapped it on one of her shoulders and made her way downstairs, once she got downstairs she made a grilled cheese sandwiches for her and her siblings and started eating, once she finished she heard her mom say "Astrea there's someone waiting outside for you".

"Oh really who?,"Astrea asked.

"Why don't you go outside and find out",her mom said mysteriously.

"Okay", Astrea drawled making her way out of the house with her bag one one shoulder and her phone in her hand.

As Astrea got outside and looked up from her phone ,she saw Ezra leaning on his car waiting for her.

"Ezra good morning, what are you doing here?", Astrea asked with a smile on her face.

"Good morning,my green eyed goddess,I'm here to take you to school",Ezra said smiling back at her, although his statement made her eyes go wide .

"Why that look love?, don't say your going to refuse",Ezra said with a pleading look.

"Of course not", Astrea said rather quickly.

"You know what let's go", She said with a wider smile.

"Great",Ezra said and opened the door for her , once she got in he proceeded to get into the car himself and with that they drove away.

Once they arrived in school everyone In the parking lot turned to look at them , making Astrea go" Don't y'all have anything betterment to do than stare", making Ezra burst out in laughter.

"You can't blame them, they just saw a beautiful green eyes goddess get out from my car,I stare to if I was them",Ezra said whilst looking at her.

"Are you sure cause I think they're staring at the handsome blue eyed hunk that owns the car", Astrea said .

"What did you say",Ezra said with wide eyes trying his best not to smile.

"I have to get to class now ,bye",Once again Ezra was left standing there like lost puppy, but he eventually recovered and went to his own class.

Astrea went directly to her class and didn't bother looking for Ciara as she was always professionally late,she got into Class and sat down in her usual front seat.

There were Still a couple minutes till the class started ,so she brought out her homework as she turned back to face the front of the class after bringing out said homework, then the school jock, Matthew Pierson sat on her desk staring at her with a smirk.

"Hey beautiful ", Matthew Pierson said.

"Hello",Astrea said just for the sake of courtesy because she really didn't want to talk to this airheaded looking jock.

"Care to go on a date with me?", Matthew said wiggling his eyebrows.

"First of all who are you?",Astrea raised her eyebrow so high that it could touch the ceiling.

"How do you not know who I am ?!",He said sounding appalled,"I'm Matthew Pierson,star quarter back,ring any bells?",He said hoping it did.

"No not really,"Astrea said shrugging .

"Anyways that's not important, what about the date?", Matthew said with high hopes as no girl had ever turned him down.

"Sorry I'm going to have to decline",Astrea said as nicely as possible, which Matthew obviously didn't hear.

" Great I'll see you this evening ", Matthew said and then realized that she said no.

"Wait why would you decline... I'm perfect aren't I ?", Matthew said sounding as egotistical as humanely possible.

"I'm sure you're great and all but I have a boyfriend ", Astrea said getting very tired of this jock.

"But he isn't here right now, is he?", Matthew said.

"I don't have time for this ",and as if on cue the teacher came in and he scurried away before the teacher could give him detention for not being in her class.

Astrea's first five classes went as usual and then it was break time , she made her way to the cafeteria where she met up with Ciara and they both got they're food,they made their way to their usual table and started eating when someone came and leaned both hands on Astrea's shoulders form behind and she instantly knew it was Ezra so she put one of her arms on his, "Hello",Astrea said with a smile.

"Hello,how was class?",Ezra asked still leaning on Astrea's shoulders.

"It was alright,the same as usual,how about yours?", Astrea asked.

"The same but I couldn't stop thinking about you", Ezra said making Astrea giggle and it was the most magical sound Ezra had ever had , there was just something about the way she smiled, and laughed and her her dimples showed that tugged on his heart strings , Infact everything she did tugged on his heart strings.

As the couple interacted, Ciara just sat there wondering when they suddenly got so close, unable to bear her curiosity she suddenly said "What is going on here?",Ciara said rather shocked on the instances playing out in front of her,the couple turned to look at her in such unison that she was convinced they were sharing a brain.

"Well,Ciara",Ezra said turning back to look at Astrea,"Your best friend agreed to be my girlfriend ",Ezra said with a wide smile making Ciara's eyes widen.

"and you didn't tell me ",Ciara said acting like she was mad but in reality she was she was extremely happy for her friend, who would have taught tat her emotionless friend could smile like this.

"just kidding you know what I'm happy for y'all ",Ciara said with a huge smile.

"And Ezra if you break her heart,I break your neck",Ciara said still smiling, Ezra was convinced that if he did ,even though he didn't plan to , she would really attempt to break his neck.

"Ciara!",Astrea exclaimed.

"What I'm just saying the truth", Ciara said innocently, making Astrea roll her eyes and smile, Ciara moved to the other side of the table so Ezra could seat next to Astrea, as everyone was happily eating and chatting a very annoying figure pulled up infront of Them and leaned on the table.

"Hello beautiful ",The individual who Astrea had hoped would leave her alone was standing next to their table and she couldn't help but be pissed of which Ezra sensed and gave him a hard look ,but her refused to back of.

"What do you want, Matthew ", Astrea said looking at him like he was a waste of her breath.

"To ask you out on a date of course", Matthew said so sure that she was going to accept.

"I already told you,I have a boyfriend, so Please leave me alone", Astrea said with an exasperated sigh.

"Where is this boyfriend now?",Matthew asked and Astrea was ready to answer but Ezra answered first"You're looking at him right now and I'd suggest you leave now for your own good",Ezra said with a deadpan look.

"What are you going to do punk",Matthew said, sizing Ezra up , which he would come to find out was a huge mistake.

"Okay don't say I didn't warn you..."
