Bring her over on Sunday

Astrea got inside the house, greeted her parents and ran upstairs.

"What is going on with that child ", Astrea's mum said while shaking her head.

Once Astrea got upstairs she threw herself on her bed and buried her face in a pillow,then she started squealing, Once she calmed down Astrea murmured to herself "oh Ezra,you will be the death of me or my heart",She gathered herself and started doing her homework,once she was done it was a couple minutes to dinner time ,she went to take a shower got into her pyjamas and went downstairs ,her mom had made chicken pesto pasta.

It was good,but she couldn't help but think about the pasta Ezra made on their first date, it was simply divine,as Astrea ate quietly,her mom suddenly spoke,"So what's the deal with 'the boy with the black Ferrari ',has he asked you to be his girlfriend yet?",her mum asked and Astrea was taken a back,she looked up from her food, then at her mum who was waiting for an answer and her dad who just sat there looking at his wife while shaking his head,it was clear that he had completely given up.

"First of all 'the boy with the black Ferrari 'has a name and it's Ezra", Astrea said putting air quotes around 'the boy with the black Ferrari '.

"Secondly,he asked me to be his girlfriend and I agreed", Astrea said looking back down on her food, while her parents dropped thier forks in shock,'what are they so surprised about?', Astrea asked herself.

This time her dad was the one to answer,"and you didn't tell us?",he said sounding...hurt.

"In my defense he only asked me recently", Astrea said seeing both her parents look emotionally hurt, she couldn't help but wonder'since when are they like this'.

"But, you should have told us as soon as he asked ",her mom protested.

"Okay I'm sorry", Astrea said so that they would calm down.

"You are forgiven ",her parents said in unison like they were pardoning from a crime she committed.

They finished dinner and Astrea washed the dishes and made her way upstairs to pass out on her bed as usual, she woke up the next day and didn't have to energy to coordinate her outfit,she chose to wear joggers and a V- cut tee shirt of matching color because why not,she decided to put her hair in a messy bun.

She made her way out of the house and saw Ezra waiting outside her house for her,she smiled and walked up to him,"Good morning ", She said.

"Good morning my green eyed goddess",Ezra said with a smile,even in a pair of joggers and a tee shirt,he was sure that she was the most beautiful individual that he had ever seen.

"So is this going to be a routine of you picking me up and dropping me in school ", Astrea asked with a smile.

"Yes it is",Ezra answered while nodding his head and smiling.

"Let's get going ", Astrea said and he opened the door for her then got into the car himself, they got to school and he opened the door for her to get down, then he walked her to her class.

The day went by as normal, once school was over he took both Astrea and Ciara home because he knew Ciara was like a sister to her. As the the day went by as normal so did the week ,Ezra was Picking Astrea up and dropping her back home along with Ciara and soon it was Friday.

He had dropped her at home and went to his house as he entered the door his mom was waiting for him in the dining table.

"Good afternoon mom",Ezra said while seating down.

"Good afternoon love",his mom said with a loving smile.

"So what did you want to talk about?",Ezra asked his mom.

"When are you going to bring your mystery girl home ,all I know about her so far is that she has green eyes, don't you want your dear old mom to meet the apple of your eye",his Mom said exasperatedly and Ezra just sat down there looking at her knowing she wasn't done yet and truly she wasn't.

"Bring her over on Sunday , please",his mom said basically pleading and Ezra could only sigh.

"I'll call her and tell her",Ezra said with an internally exasperated sigh and made his way upstairs to call her.

Astrea was lying on her stomach on her bed with kicking her feet in the air, reading a fantasy novel online as she didn't have anything to do , one thing about her was that she was obsessed with fantasy novels and Greek mythology but that was a more known fact about her and well known in her own context meant her family, Ciara and Ezra and that was about it .

Her phone suddenly began ringing and she somehow picked without knowing who called,"Hello", Astrea said to whoever was on the other end of the phone.

"Hello my green eyed goddess ",Ezra said on the other end of the month phone.

"Hello love", Astrea Said,she really had to start checking the person's name before she answered the call.

"I was wondering if you are free Sunday evening?",Ezra asked hoping she was free , because if she wasn't his mom would think he didn't want to bring her over.

"Yeah,I am why?", Astrea asked while playing with her hair.

"So here's the deal ,my mum really wants to meet my girlfriend and has been asking me to bring you over,so she really wants you to come over on Sunday evening",Ezra said hoping she agree.

"Yeah sure,I would love too", Astrea said happily, shocking Ezra.

"Great", Ezra said letting out a sigh of relief.

"Don't I have to get her a gift or something like that?", Astrea asked starting to sound worried and nervous.

"You don't really have to but if you want to we can go shopping tomorrow?",Ezra said.

"That would be nice", Astrea said sounding relieved.

"Anything specific that your mom likes?", Astrea asked for study purposes.

"Let's see...She loves jewelry ", Ezra said mostly sure about his answer.

"Okay,is she more of a silver person or a gold person ", Astrea asked.

"I guess she's a gold person",Ezra guessed bases on the fact that he mostly saw her wearing gold jewellery.

"Great", Astrea said ready to plan what gift to get his mom.

"So I'll pick you up at noon tomorrow", Ezra said.

"Okay bye love ", Astrea said.

"Bye my green eyed goddess",Ezra said and with that they both hung up and Astrea went downstairs.
