Chapter 11 Public Library

Cleo opened his eyes in front of him is a woman that has a fiery red hair sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face.

He gently lift her head to pull out his arm and give her a kiss on a forehead before standing up. He decided to let her sleep more and proceed to freshen up and go down to buy breakfast from the Inn below their room.

While waiting for the food Cleo overheard a conversation that pique his interest. He decided to eavesdrop without making it obvious.

"Did you hear the rumor about the SwordSaints guild leader having a God's Gift?" says by the thin patron while holding a tankard of ale.

"If that's true then he will be the 3rd chosen by the gods in Lavierre Kingdom. Zirracania Alliance won't be able to compete against us anymore since they only have one." replied by the fat patron while trying to nibble the leftover meat from the bones he's holding.

The conversation continues however Cleo lost interest once the only thing he can hear is how much stronger Lavierre Kingdom against Zirracania Alliance.

After getting their breakfast he brings it to their room so they can both eat together.

Upon entering the room Cleo saw Leah hastily fixing her equipment as if she's preparing to leave and set out on a journey to find a long lost treasure.

"Calm down Leah I only went down to buy breakfast so we can eat together." says by Leo while grinning.

Seeing her darling, Leah let out a sigh of relief before turning beet red and looks down in embarrassment once she realize what she did.

"At least wake me up darling before you go out." mumbled by Leah.

Cleo set down the breakfast on the table and patted Leah's head. "Let's eat first then go to the library."

The pair proceed to eat the food Cleo brought. Its a simple meal that consist of bread, scrambled eggs and a meat soup.

After filling up their stomach the pair went to the public library to gather more information about the world their currently in.

They spend the whole day reading. As to make it more productive Cleo decided that he will read about the monsters, treasures and guilds while Leah will focus on geography and history as this is her favorite subject back when they were both living on Earth.

Once Cleo notice that the sun is setting he call Leah and call it a day. They will go to the market and buy a spatial inventory for Leah so they can get the Kobold Fragment reward and also buy a sword for the both of them.

While walking to the market both of them share what their learn with each other from the public library.

They then arrive to a shop called Novice Paradise. Its a wooden house that was repurpose to resemble a shop. It sells variety of items instead of specializing on a specific category.

"Welcome to Novice Paradise!" announce by the fat merchant that has thin mustache that coils around at both ends.

Startled by the announcement the pair just nods then proceed to buy Spatial Inventory. Leah insist to buy the ring variant to make it look like they have engagement rings.

The pair also buy a standard issue sword with the gold they were left after buying the rings. Cleo didn't care too much about the sword since base on the information he read the drop rate of decent weapon from monster is high.

The pair went back to the Inn to rest and prepare for tomorrow. Their next goal is to reach Lv. 50 to unlock the next job and earn gold in the process.
