"Chengcheng, have you asked for leave from your teacher?"
Ren Li asked her son, knowing that even if they were leaving, they still needed to ask for permission.
"Mom, school is closed."
When Tang Xincheng came over for a check-up, the school had already received the news and had given them an early holiday. As for when classes would resume, that would require further notice. But it seemed unlikely they would restart within a week.
It appeared that someone in the class next door had developed a fever. He had been worried that he might have spread it, feeling guilty. But since he was okay, it meant he wasn't the source of the infection. Nevertheless, the school wouldn't reopen anytime soon, regardless of who had spread it.
"That's good," Ren Li picked up a suitcase, which was hurriedly packed with both her and her son's clothes. There was no time for a careful arrangement. If they needed something later, they could buy it then.
"Mom, where are we going?"
