Imps’ Possession
When I returned to The Pit with Reinar and Jen, we instantly made our way to the tenth ring, where we kept all the brainwashed soldiers and villagers.
The first warrior with whom we tried the holy panacea was the one we chose to test the new potion, as we felt that if someone deserved to be cured first, it was that guy.
It was a bit harder to feed him the potion since it took a few seconds for the thick liquid to pour out of the bottle, so Vespera and I had to hold down the man for a long time.
Once most of it slid down the man's throat, we let go of him and gave him some space to flail his arms around. Suddenly, he halted his movements and stared into the void with his eyes widened.
"Oh? Is something happening?" I wondered aloud.
*cough, cough* the man choked, holding tightly onto his windpipe.
