When we got to talk to Princess Eve at the elven castle, we told her that we were traveling to Balinesia for the assembly but stopped at the Lunar Forest.

Eve knew that the outskirts of the veil were being ravaged by Salamandra, but they couldn't do much about it as they didn't want to sacrifice their people in pointless fights.

"Lost of monsters have tried attacking Eldariel in the past, and our best options during those times were to wait for them to give up…" Eve elaborated.

Her explanation made sense. No one had ever been able to cross the veil using strength or magic, so if their enemies were outside the veil, there was no point in fighting.

Eve was against sending hunters to fight Salamandra from the very beginning, but a group of them said they were confident they could take down the beast.

"Now, we ended up losing ten of our hunters to the monster. I'm sure if they had just waited, it would have gone away…" Eve continued.
