He came to a sudden realization, and his dark eyes were full of starlight.

Lucille remained silent.
She had no expression on her face. "You're overthinking things. Give that back to me. That's not for you."
"It's mine." Joseph held the conch in his palm. Raising his head, he looked at Lucille seriously and said word by word, "I like it very much."
The man's eyes were deep, as if they could suck her in.
Lucille blinked and teased him. "You've got such a high status, Mr. Joseph. How could you like such a worthless little thing?"
"As long as it is a gift from you, I like it. Not to mention..."
Joseph drew near, and his scorching hot breath fanned onto Lucille's ear. "This is proof that my wife missed me. It's of great significance."
Lucille's face flushed. For a moment, she was unable to refute.
