The warden gritted his teeth and ended up calling Dixon's secretary. He had wanted to find out what was going on and ask him why a manager had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, not to mention that the manager had more authority than him.
In the past, his word was law. But now, he had to constantly take orders from another person. Who could stand it?
However, as soon as the warden was about to speak, Dixon's secretary conveyed Dixon's message in a very serious tone.
"An order is an order. You just have to carry it out. Don't ask anything else! I'll tell you something else. If you don't like this new manager, you can think of a way to deal with him on your own."
Then, the phone was hung up.
The warden was dumbfounded.
