14. Rewards

Abraham didn't hesitate and propelled himself to have close combat against the woman. Having the transformed ability, Abraham knew that the woman's defense was great and she was going to be the first enemy that was going to give Abraham a first real fight.

On the other side, having just advanced to level 5, she was overconfident. The woman decided only partially activate her power and when Abraham would see his attack doing nothing against her, he would fall into despair.

Seeing the woman state, Abraham knew what was going on inside her mind. He gave the woman a powerful kick on her stomach.

Both didn't bulge but the woman felt pain. Something she didn't receive from any opponent for a long time. When looking at her opponent, she could not see his face but hidden under the hood, she saw a faint smile. She felt humiliated.

"You piece of s**t, I'm going to make your life miserable. I won't give you an easy death". While taking she used her transformed ability to give herself superspeed and arrived at Abraham.

Seeing the punch already near his chest, Abraham could only bring both arms together and coated them with Qi.

Abraham was able to neglect most of the damage but the momentum caused his body to start falling. While in midair, Abraham swung his left foot and hit the woman in the face at point blank. He rolled on his back and immediately got back up.

When kicking Abraham had to fuel it with Qi unless he wanted to have broken bones.

He could see a nasty cut near the woman's lip. This time Abraham took the initiative and decided it was time to give his opponent a good lesson. He started hitting her with punches and kicks. All she could do was block them.

Having enough, the woman used both of her hands and pushed Abraham. She the followed up with a punch.

This time Abraham activated his flash step and he got quickly to the woman's back. Instantly he got into a fighting stance and performed the hammer strike.

The second in command of the wolf gang could not evade and took the full-powered punch on her back.

The hammer strike was excellent against hardening or transforming abilities as it caused internal injuries.

Abraham didn't give her a second of peace as he performed another hammer strike. This time, she got hit so hard that she got crashing against the wall.

The woman's yellow dress was tainted with blood. She was holding her back feeling extreme pain in her backbone. then her world fell apart when she tried to get up but was unsuccessful.

"No, no no no why my body is not moving". Even when activating her transform ability, nothing was happening.

Slowly, the boy responsible for her state got near her. Unlike what she was expecting, the boy didn't end her life.

"You love torturing people right? Let's see how you do when the same happens to you. I hope you can entertain me for some time." Abraham cracked his knuckles and grabbed the woman's fingers. He was going to make her wish for death.

In the middle of the night, loud shivering cries were heard. Only after an hour that it stopped. On the roof of the wolf building, a mutilated body was against the wall. It was so deformed that it didn't look like a human at all. All the body fingernails were lying around in a pool of blood.

Abraham was looking at the scene with a pitiful look. Abraham wanted to keep the woman alive and made her every day a living hell but after an hour her mental state was no more stable due to the continuous intense pain.

He performed the Qi drain and due to her being a level 5, she had quite the life energy. Together with all the other Qi absorbed, Abraham felt his muscles twitching as he had reached the maximum his body could sustain.

Unlike the previous killing, this time the system marked the kill separately. Abraham came to the conclusion that it may be due to her high level.

From the rooftops, Abraham saw the fight between the gang leaders was already over. Bart on the losing end decided to create an explosion taking his rival leader together in death.

With that, the war was over. In a single night, both the gangs of the lesser district got erased.

Abraham kept hearing messages from the system. He felt his body changing and the goal to level 10 was within grasp.

He decided to open his status window and review his stats.

With the 5 percent increase from each level, Abraham's new total health point increased to 90. He also received a total of 5 attribute points for each level up. As for his stats, they increased due to ki Qi training during the previous three days.

Unfortunately, the experience needed was getting doubled each time and Abraham needed to complete more quests to reach his main target of level 10.

On top of all the rewards received from the system, Abraham had absorbed so much Qi from his enemy. Any more will result in his body exploding. He had also stored blood from different individuals and when he would drink it, his stats would be increased.

With his blood bank skill level 2, Abraham went to the other side of the building where groups A and B from the Bear gang launched the attack. In no time, his 200 milimetres blood bank was full.

He got a total of 60 different blood from them.

He decided to drink them at a later date.

Feeling his stamina drain, he decided to rest for the night and check everything back in the morning.

He went to the main street and found a place among the people sleeping.

Late in the morning, he was woken by the busy movement on the road. To his right, an old man was still sleeping unaffected by some much noise. Far on the road, he could see Pele carrying the bags of a woman. He was struggling with the weight but continued to follow closely behind the woman. Abraham's hp had automatically refilled a little thanks to the natural regenerative ability of a vampire.

From all the intense fights and remaining alert throughout the whole night, Abraham was mentally drained.

He decided to go back to his apartment and took care of the surplus Qi energy.
