Just as Jenna's call ended, a call from an unknown number came in. Seraphina was reluctant to pick it at first but seeing no one was panicking about her answering the call she did answer it.

"Where have you been, my sugar pie?" A very recognized voice came from the other side of the phone and Seraphina immediately looked around frantically before moving away.

"What do you want, Asher?" She asked him ans his low chuckle came from the other side of the phone.

"You are so cute. You think you can run from me? I want you back, Seraphina…"

"Dream on. I don't want to have anything to do with you ever again. In this life or the next to come." Seraphina said and was about to hang up when she paused.

"Seems like you've forgotten what I'm capable of." Asher said in a low and dangerous tone. "You know I know every single person you love and care about out here. Come and meet me at the address I'll text you. Alone."

Before Seraphina could react, he hung up making Seraphina nervous as she looked down at the phone. She thought she wouldn't be reached by Asher again since Lucian did something to her phone but she was wrong.

"Are you fine, Seraphina? You look worried." Esmeralda asked her and Seraphina was about to say something about Asher but she knew she couldn't. She had known Asher for years and she knew he could get whatever he wanted through violence.

She didn't want Lucian to deal with any sort of violence because of her at all. "Yes I'm fine. I have to do something in the city though." Seraphina asked as she walked up the stairs.

"But you can't go out without Lucian's men there with you. Or should I come with you?" Esmeralda asked but Seraphina refused.

"Just get me a car and do me a favor not to tell Lucian I went out at all." Seraphina said as she walked into her room to change her clothes.

Esmeralda was suspicious but didn't say anything and just went into the key room to pick her keys to give to Seraphina. She didn't know if she would be able to operate any of these almost five hundred cars in the house, so to be on the safer side she should had her the easiest to drive.

Everyone had left the kitchen by the time Seraphina got down and she stepped out to see Esmeralda by a car. Esmeralda tosses her the key with a slight smile on her face. "Just be careful when driving and don't come back late. I've told the guards to let you in and out without anyone knowing." Esmeralda said.

"Thank you very much, Esmeralda. You're the best." Seraphina hugged her tightly before getting into the car and driving off. Esmeralda stood there, her arms folded across her chest as she watched the car drive out of sigh.

"Please be safe." She whispered before turning back into the house.

Seraphina stared at the address Asher had sent to her as the gps directed her there. She wanted to get this over with and ask Asher never to see her again or disturb her since he left her willingly and wasn't forced.

Seraphina got out of the car as she got to a small house on the edge of town. The house was brightly lit inside and the lights blended with the reflection of the setting sun.

"I'm here." Seraphina said as she heard him answer her call. "And alone." She added and just the , the front door opened.

Asher stepped out of the house with a bathrobe wrapped around him and a smirk on his face. "Come over." He said and she walked towards the building, cautiously looking around. He took the keys from her and tossed it into the nearby bush before pulling her into the house.

She didn't expect the pull and unintentionally fell into his arms as he closed the door. "You don't have to be so quick to get touchy, sweetheart." He said with a smirk, pinning her against the door and his face coming closer to her neck but she pushed him away and he took two steps backwards.

"What do you think you're doing?" Seraphina asked him with a frown.

"You never pushed me away when we were together…"

"We're together. You called off our engagement and rejected me as your mate. The pain you put me through after that makes me hate you even more." Seraphina pointed out and a little chuckle escaped his lips.

"Do I look like I care?" He asked, grabbing her wrists harshly. "Do you think I care what you think of me and what you don't? I might have left you but you still belong to me. Your body belongs to me."

Seraphina forced herself out of his grip and a slap landed across his face. "You bastard. I am not a thing, I do not belong to you and I will never." She yelled angrily.

"You've become so feisty I see." Asher chuckled as he cleaned the corner of his lip with his thumb. "I haven't had a taste of you yet, and no man would do that before me."

Asher grabbed her arms and dragged her along the small living room as she screamed for help. "I will use you to my pleasure and leave you for him to finish. You should have gone to someone else but Lucian."
