And here we are again…

*Bang*

"What exactly is your problem woman? Do you know how much it cost to buy one of these plates for those fancy rich people?" My manager yelled at me as he pointed at the four broken dishes scattered on the floor. 

"Each plate cost over fifty dollars and yet you can freely smash it like you bought it with your own money. Your payment would be delayed this month and the next and all your last months outstanding would be held because of this accident." He said before walking out of the kitchen.

I rest my back against the kitchen cabinet as I looked at the ticking clock. It was thirty minutes to my shift at the clubhouse and my shift here was up.

I forced myself up and my eyes wandered to the plate of steak in the microwave and I heard my stomach growl but I ignored it and walked out of the restaurant through the staff's door.
