Nike's Wrath

As I'm absorbed into the orb of darkness I feel nothing my body could barely move and I couldn't see

'price of cockyness 101' I try to sort myself slowly walking forward the darkness consuming me with every step

I can hear whispers around me mumbling barely discernable things as I walk further to what I assume is my swords

I recognize it further due to it being a feasible voice rather than a whisper telling me to commit various war crimes

'whelp least I know what happens when things made from pride control get out of my power' I think slowly realizing what happened

before I think further on the topic I see a shadow of 1 sword that appears in the darkness that was currently eyes

following it the darkness seems to dissipate and be replaced by gray walls as I walk my eyesight seems to get restored

after a few minutes I arrived to a wide hole that seems to have one of my swords in the middle

I slide down the hole that was oddly ice like as I almost slipped upon standing up, I slowly creep to keep myself steady as I go to my sword

it looks different however with it's original brown color being replaced with black, and it's highlights look grey with it pulsating red in the middle

I attempt to touch it before I feel something wrong and jump getting distance but slipping

struggling to get up for a second I see 'me?', but laying down on the ice with a spear similar in look to my sword

"exactly I'm you [yawns] now can you shut it" I see the copy using pride control to literally type his words in the air

'the hell is he saying I can't even physically move my mouth how tf am I-' I'm stopped mentally by a thin needle slowly moving towards me

I move out the way confused as suddenly the second I did it accelerated at breakneck speeds breaking the ice I was standing on alongside the floor I was previously at

"I can hear you y'know, and [yawn] yes I mean your thoughts now be quiet [yawn] and let me speak"

I just quiet my thoughts as he seems very aggressive in the way he typed that in 'like a keyboard warrior'

I immediately see another needle I move as quickly as possible away from as a second later it shoots

" there that should shut you [yawn] up now listen I'm sloth well not my [yawn] name but I'm your sloth in it's purest [yawn] form "

"if you want this sword your going to have to [yawn] beat me however your weak and not mentally stable so [yawn] take this"

he throws my original sword to me as I slowly see the darkness fade away I start to fall unconscious but I see one more thing beforehand

" this isn't [yawn] over "

I wake up in the velvet room as I hear hysterical laughing from behind me, I look and see Lucifer dying of laughter rolling in the sand

interestingly though the sand seems to dissipate into darkness whenever it touches his clothes making a small hole inside the sand

at this point he has been laughing for 5 minutes and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon

so eager to stop getting made fun of I make a small solid ball of wind behind him as he rolls back and fourth

however once it touches him it does the exact same as the sand and dissipates into his body curiously and seeming to notice my attempts he was laughing even harder

suddenly though I see a stick fly through the air landing perfectly on top of Lucifer's forehead making him stop laughing as he looks for whoever did that

we both trace the air as he slightly floats up from the mini black hole in the sand to see Caroline in the corner holding her mouth trying not to laugh as Justine just smiles stickless

giving Justine a thumbs up ' jesus Christ that was painful' I cough to get Lucifer's attention as he looks at me

"so uh mind explaining whatever that was that just happened because- well you are Lucifer not to mention he literally called himself sloth"

he once again playfully frowns at me "oh wow just because coincidentally someone named after the 7 sins appears in front of you and kicks your ass"

he floats up flat towards me hands to his chin "and Also coincidentally his weapons seem similar to mark of pride and ALSO coincidentally I was laughing you think this has something to do with me"

I deadpan at his words and just blankly stare at him not blinking 'wait not blinking' I think as I lose track of my thoughts and think maybe there are some slight differences in the velvet room compared to the real world

snapping back to reality though given that it's only been a few seconds I retort "yes clearly I may act dumb at times and borderline manic but I got common sense"

I feel people wanting to retort what I just said but they simmer down as Lucifer says "well to that my friend you would be correct though not wholely"

he says stopping floating just to sit in the air 'what is even the point of stopping floating at that point' he continues after a pause saying

"he is...a part of me in simple terms, see due to my power I couldn't awaken simply as that would've destroyed you mentally and likely make you more unstable than you are now"

"so 'I' sealed parts of myself and given it would be dangerous to have more than 2 of my powers I gave you the ones with the most development potential"

"However I couldn't make it that easy for you to reobtain them as again you would be easily destroyed due to not being strong enough, so each of my parts can use your abilities as well as a ability unique to their sins"

"of course every time you defeat a part the next part unlocks their power.....but I made a small error and it gave them an ego and since I couldn't reabsorb them without risk to you"

"I simply decided to number the difficulty of the sin based on their ego, with sloth being the easiest for numerous reasons"

I pause at this thinking of a familiar game before saying "so basically-" "yes it's just a boss rush but more delayed" "but wh-" "they likely appeared now due to your growth but do note they have nothing to do and they can grow"

' ah so I'm fucked ' "not exactly they just have your abilities plus 1 and a mindset limited due to their sin"

' did you just fucking ' "yes I read your thoughts get over yourself your mind is a mess you think it wouldn't be easy to read it?"

"hell I think he" points at Igor who I now notice has just been sitting there watching this interaction "has been doing this since day 1, actually.....hmm yes this might be a problem"

"well clearly" he waves his hand dismissively

"no not your mind, your memories seem mangled, as if someone broke them apart and stitched different parts of them together"

I feel a wave of lethargy hit me as suddenly I fall unconscious seeing Lucifer look at me with concern as he turns to a figure behind me as I pass out

hmm well seems my little alteration has been noticed, no matter I shall deal with it myself 'dormina' there that should be sufficient... hmm seems that boy has a stronger persona than I thought.....

no matter I shall take this into my own hands 'memoir' what my teleportation was misdirected...this is a major hole in my plans

it seems I must take this into full consideration I shall fall back for now after all he can't track me.... the boy is much more important than he realized

Philemon believes he could hide this new pet project from me, hahahaha i'd like to see his reaction to me not only destroying his plans but bending his ally to my knees.....

it's only a matter of time, but I think I should address something more important....you, yes you, I see you. I don't know who or what you are but I'm a bit tired of being constantly watched

I'm sure most of y'all are trying to guess who this entity is and trust me when I say it's not Yaldabaoth, although I won't say anything about his involvement in the story

the least I can tell you is that this entity is more of a problem than Yaldabaoth

also sidenote was at multiple parties these past few days and my phone is on 1 percent so can't make as many jokes about my late upload schedule as usual

here's a minor hint of this entity, look very closely near the end

also I wonder what that part at the end was talking about, hmm might have to look up a few definitions I dunno
