CHAPTER 3: Damien Davis and Lucas Garcia.

(Next Morning).

Evelyn and Nicholas freshened up and got dressed, they packed their things and are breakfast then they left the inn, they were already given the pictures of the two demons they are to kill.

"Giving the information about this two they seem to mostly spend their day at the local bar or in the dark forest. Let's head to the forest first". Nicholas said and Evelyn nodded.

They walked cautiously into the forest, ready for anything to attack if something unexpected happens.

While walking a dagger suddenly flew towards Nicholas, Evelyn spotted it first and she quickly pushed him away. She immediately pulled out a dagger from her boots and stood on a fight stance as Nicholas pushed himself back up.

" What are this chicks doing in the dark forest brother". A deep scary voice spoke making both Evelyn and Nicholas turn to him.

Realising the they were not one but two and a bonus for them that they were the people they were looking for made the two assassins smirk before Evelyn said. "Who are you calling chick, don't let the appearance mislead you".

" Oh really now chick, I will finish you in one go". The other demon said.

"okay then since you challenged me then I will show you what I have got". After saying that the two assassins immediately moved to launch their attack catching the demons off-guard.

Everyone picked their target. Evelyn launch forward with her dagger but the demon caught her wrist and twisted it then sinked his sharp long nails into her making her back facing him as she groaned " Shit".

She breathes in and out knowing of how painful it will be because she was about to safe herself. The tree at her front was her weapon as she suddenly use her left leg to hop on the tree which made her backflip and landed at the back of the demon making her have the upper hand. Without wasting time she jabbed him in the spine and immediately his black blood poured out of his body and little by little his body became ashes.

Then she sat down close to a tree while waiting for Nicholas to finish his business. While sitting she suddenly felt an intense stare and she looked at the direction but found nothing so she shove the feeling at the back of her mind and took out a cloth to clean her injured wrists.

"I'm also done with my work so lets get going, we will leave for Rusania tomorrow morning ". Nicholas said as he finished then she stood up and the both of them walked away.

" Why do I feel like someone is watching me?". Evelyn asked Nicholas.

" Tsk, you are just exergerating, our job is done now common let's get going". Nicholas replied as he clicked his tongue as he drag her with him and walked out of the forest.

(BACK IN THE FOREST).

" Darn, the girl was so good". Lucas Said (Lucas Garcia (demon prince) is the prince of Weirdville and the best friend of Damien Davis).

" Yeah, tsk pathetic humans she must have trained for years but we were born with it". Damien said.

"Yeah, that's pretty stressful". Lucas said then paused for a while before saying "Come on let's head back to westeria before they cause a commotion and saying the King is missing".

" Tsk, being a king isn't easy, they always want me hanging around and solving their problems". Damien said.

" Yeah, I understand". Lucas said and that made Damien face snap to give him the look 'what the hell do you understand, you are just a prince'.

" So what if I am a prince, I still have my duties you know". Lucas said pouting making Damien chuckle.

They stayed for a few minutes before teleporting to the castle.

(In the castle).

The happy and all smiley king was gone immediately he stepped back into the castle, and was replaced with a cold and terrifying gaze.

" W-welcome b-back my lord and P-prince Lucas". The Maid said as they passed and the king and prince just gave the a nod and ignored them.

"Welcome your Majesty and you too your royal highness". Simon (Damien's right hand man) greeted as he sighted Damien and Lucas.

" Where is Eliza?". Damien inquired.

"Her royal highness is taking her rest in the garden, your Majesty". Simon replied and Damien nodded and waved his right hand signalling for him to leave.

" Damien, I need to leave now. I don't want your sister to turn all mushy with me again". Lucas said in a hurry.

And when he was about to teleport back home he heard his best friend saying "You know that it is an honor for the princess of Westeria to be in love with you".

" Yeah man, but I just don't feel the sparks with her, I don't love her". Lucas said bitterly.

" Sparks, seriously I never knew you'd believe in those rubbish". Damien said mockingly with a chuckle.

" I will remind you of that when you have found love". Lucas said with a smile.

" Tsk, that is if I even find one, I am already 426 year old and I still haven't found anyone". Damien said with a smile and Lucas teleported back to weirdville and Damien walked to the garden to see his sister.

Eliza was sitting on the swing that was in the middle of the garden and was reading a book with a cup of tea on a table in front of her.

Damien sneaked towards her and "Boom". he said loudly making her flinch that the book fell out of her hands as she held on to her racing heart while her brother burst out laughing at her.

Glaring at him she pouted and yelled " How dare you scare the royal highness of Westeria".

Saying that made Damien chuckle as he said " Oh, a king can do that sister".

" Tsk, and so what. I am the princess here and I am supposed to be treated with care after all your sister is very fragile".

"You are not sister, everyone shiver at the sound of your name, even the prince of weirdville". Damien said mockingly.

" Tsk, I want him to love me instead of being scared". Eliza murmured to herself but Damien heard it.

" Eliza, if Lucas doesn't fall for you, you should move on. Love can not be forced. There are many men out there who wants your hand in marriage, all you have to do is to pick up the right man". Damien said as he hugged her and she nodded.
