One week later...
One by one, the files spilled on the shelf of Luis' office. Today was another tough week of work and he was disappointed with the outcome of the business. He glared at her own mother, folding aside.
"Son, just calm down. It might harm your health," Hermana advised calmly.
Luis gritted his teeth. "At any rate, the higher officials have done nothing good! How could he do that! Why did he favor the employees and remove the suppliers who can't be lost to us? Why did this happen? Where did he owe money to iron out? the troubles? Why didn't you stop him? How about those employees that we owe huge payments for their work? How could you be this cruel, ma."
Hermana tightened her grip on her cane.
"I'm sorry, but sometimes, promises are meant to be broken. Until now, I don't know why you promised to give them payments that we didn't have to pay for. Maybe it's because you're really distracted with that woman."
