Bad Dream

"When you grow old, you always feel sick. It's part of life," Mrs. Chanda grumbled as she held her own neck. She must have been too tired from swimming and wandering around Natividad.

"Do you want me to massage you, grandma?" Cheche approached the old lady with a smile.

"Yes, that's a good idea, granddaughter. All right, just in case you can't get around later because you're taking care of me."

"That's okay. Ah, my brother-in-law, Raymart and my sister aren't here yet, did they go somewhere?"

Mrs. Chanda suddenly gasped which grabbed the attention of Marigold's parents who were currently having breakfast.

"Let's not disturb them. Only now can they make the most of their time together."

Cheche frowned because of that, the old woman's laughter made sense. Her parents did not escape such a reaction that registered on Mrs. Chanda's face.

"Cheche, we know you're curious but don't ask any more about that."

She just bowed to what her father said.
