Chapter Two: Ladies Night Out

the brick shit house of a man with white hair standing about seven foot to eight foot tall chuckled at Valerie and he said, "Hey Spazz and who'er you?" His hand goes out towards Valerie.

Valerie takes his hand and she said," I'm Valerie and this my friend Crystal, if you have any questions for her, she is your girl to answer the best she can about this town."

Spazz nods to me and he said,"This my friend A'Kreath the brooding one."

Valerie said," Nice to meet you both and now I have to get going I have to get back to my job and see you later tonight Crystal. We can celebrate that you are free women now and no more staying with your step sisters and step mother."

I watch my friend Valerie leave and giggles as she tries not to bumps into anymore people.

The gentleman name A'Kreath walks up to the counter top and said,"I have a question is your father in town, we need to talk to him."

I looked and smiled at him and said," My father is in town but he doesn't come to this shop since my mother died. But I can give you his office number or his house number of you like it of course. May I ask if you guys are new clients or old clients?"

A'Kreath said, "We are old clients and yes we would like the house and office number and address."

I started to write the address down when Folanik walked in and she said," Crystal how dare you leave the family house hold and still trying to run this place to the ground!"

I finished giving A'Kreath the address and the number to fathers cellphone and gave a apologies smile to him and his friend Spazz. I said," Excuse me A'Kreath and Spazz trouble as come in here at the wrong time."

Folanik walks pass them and she said," Did you not hear me Crystal?"

I felt like I should of hid because of the guy in front me his aura was like a predator sizing up its meal in seconds. It seems like it was aimed towards Folanik.

I said, " Yes I heard you Folanik but I will not talk in front of customers about personal issues here and you know for a fact I don't like it. So leave now and come back another time."

Folanik smirks and she looks at A'Kreath and Spazz, she said," I bet these are the only customers you will have today."

She started to touch A'Kreath and She smiles at him but I saw fear flash in her eyes but it was replaced with a fake smile and she said," So Handsom why don't we go some place quiet and we can get to know each other on a personal level."

I wanted to throw up with how she tried to flirt and it was a cringing sight just watching her. I look at her and said," Leave my customers alone Folanik they don't want anything from you. See yourself out of here and come back later."

She gave me a dirty look and If only looks can kill. She said," I was not asking you Dirty girl now was I?"

I wanted to smack her face but I kept my cool and said," I am not a Dirty girl like you Folanik. You go sleeping around with lots of men and yet you call me a dirty girl. Right so you leave now and make sure the door don't hit you on the way out."

She ignored me and kept on trying to have her way with A'Kreath and I was having about enough of her and I went around the counter, before A'Kreath took her arm causing slight pain to get her attention. "madam please do not touch me and show more respect to your sister while in her place of business." he had said in a cold calm tone of voice his eyes showing a little gleam of wanting her to do something to give him a reason to hurt her.

I found my voice again saying," Like I said Folanik come back another time when I don't have customers. I don't want anything from you or you to bother my customers."

Folanik did a small growl and a hiss towards me and she said," I will tell mother and father about you."

She left and I turned around and look at Spazz and A'Kreath, I bow to them and said," I am sorry for the poor manners of my step sister and I hope this doesn't give you a bad taste in your guys mouth."

Spazz looks at A'Kreath and said," It's alright can't choose family."

A'Kreath gave a slight sigh and said then. "Well you could but circumstances prevent it sometimes. We need to leave now and please becareful when you go home."

I wanted to hug them for understanding but it probably won't look good professional wise after what had happened here. I said, "Again I am completely sorry for everything and I will try my best to becareful."

They leave the shop and through out the day everything was going good. As I was going to lock the door I felt like someone was watching me but I couldn't tell by who or what.

I heard a elderly woman voice and she said, "Excuse me miss can you tell me where I can get something decent to eat around here?"

I smiled at the elderly women and said, "Yes I can what kind of food are you looking for?"

She smiled back and said," Hmm I don't really know but what can I get for two dollars?"

I felt bad for her and said, "Sadly not whole lot, but please come inside and I will make you something warm and filling for you."

The elderly woman looked sad and she said," You don't have to it would be to much of bother for you and won't you lose money in feeding me?"

I just smiled at her and then said, "Not really, I would bring shame onto this shop if I don't feed people who are hungry. My mother raised me up right and she would look down on me and pray that I get my ass beat if I just ignored customers and before you say your aren't customer. I have to say you are in my view so please come inside and eat some food."

The elderly women started to laugh said," Your mother did raise you up good and she be so very happy that you followed her example."

I smiled and lead her into my shop and went to back to the kitchen and started to cook when I heard the door bell rang from the front and I called to the front and said, "I will be right with you in few minutes please take a seat."

Valerie called back, "Aren't you supposed to be closing up by now?"

I looked at the time and she would know when I close up but I didn't want to leave the elderly women without food. I walk back to the front of the shop and gave the plate of food to the elderly woman and said, " Here is your food madam and do enjoy it."

Valerie smiled and she said," You are to sweet Crystal not a lot of people will do what you just did for this woman."

The elderly woman gets up and said, "Can I take the plate with me and bring it to you tomorrow? I can tell you girls are going to have some fun tonight and I don't want to be in the way of that."

"Of course you can and don't push yourself and please take care of yourself tonight Madam." I said to her as she was leaving.

I look at Valerie and said," Let's go through the back and I can lock up the front." Valerie started heading to the back and I locked the front door and turn off the lights.

I locked even the back door and we walked towards the front and got into Valerie car and she started driving and we listened to good music. Until the radio News started and the reporter said, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I was told to give you some news that is happening, Starting tomorrow everyone will need to get home early because of a attack by some unknown people and until they are caught by the police and FBI."

Valerie turned it off and she said, "That's been on going all day and we don't need to listen to this nonsense. Let's just have fun tonight and pay no attention to it."

I wanted to listen to the news for while and my gut is telling me we should have listen to the radio.

When we got to the club, I felt like I was still being watched but couldn't tell where it was coming from. Valerie touches my shoulders and said, "Crystal are you oh ok? You are spacing out."

I shaking the feeling I was having away and smiled at her and said," Yes I am fine Valerie. Let's go inside now and have fun."

As we were heading to the door Rosela and Meredith were in the line and said," Crystal why don't you invite us in with you?"

Valerie talked before I did and she said, "Yeah and on that she let the guard man here to let spoiled brats like you in and sorry she as no right to invite you because it's my invite only. So we see you inside later okay."

On that note Valerie took my hand and lead me inside and I can tell she was panicking. I said," Valerie are you oh ok?"

Valerie smiles at me and said," Yes I am fine Crystal but we really need to get you out of that house and soon. I have a bad feeling and I don't know why."

Valerie is the type of person if she gets a bad feeling about something and she doesn't know why it could mean end of one's life.

As we enter the club I started to feel like someone was trying to get my attention but I fought against it.

We stayed until 3:00am, I had fun and when we were about to head out, Rosela and Meredith smiled wickedly and without me noticing I bump into a gentleman. he was broad but also slinder built but agile everything of this man seemed to be edging on perfection, I blush and bow to him, and said," Sorry for bumping into you Sir."

The man looked at me and gave a gentle smile but something about it seemed sad. " I am fine but are you okay miss?" His voice was deep but had a soft tone, though there was something hidden by all of that.

I looked up into his eyes and god they are beautiful but they had a hunger to them. I felt like a was the prey and I wanted to run way and get caught by him. I shook my head and said, "Yes I am perfectly fine thank you for asking."

the man would nod and place his hand on my shoulder it felt odd I almost wanted more of his touch, he then said. "be careful heading home, there is some people out there that you can not trust and should keep a careful eye on. " he said looking in the direction of Rosela and Meredith.

I looked in the direction he was talking about and I sighed and said,"I know I need to becareful with my step sisters and luckily I am not going to that home tonight but heading to my friend Valerie place and I'll be moving out soon."

The man kept his gaze on Rosela and Meredith before looking back to me, those damn eyes could almost enthrall a woman but that hunger in them kept me from fully falling. he had sighed and spoke softly. " I do not think just moving out will be enough little nightingale... just be careful." he had said before leaning in and kissing my cheek before dragging a nail up my neck to my chin sending shivers through my body.

I wanted to pounce on him and rip his clothes off for some reason, I have never met this man but he is hitting buttons I never knew I had. I cleared my throat and said,"I will do my best on being careful and you hot stuff need to be careful if you flirt with me." I have to remember not to be like Valerie and my step sister Folanik mindset but it just came out without thinking and I started to blush hard.

The man chuckled softly and whispered in my ear. " what if I want to flirt with you because I like your reaction. " His breath was warm as it brushed against my ear the hunger now seeping through his voice as it took a slightly deeper more dominant tone, I shivered again before he leaned back and smiled to me there was something odd about his smile a singular fang just barely showing before he spoke again. " I should not keep you, and you should get somewhere safe." he said showing what seemed to be genuine concern for me.

I started to blush an even deeper red meeting this man for just a few minutes sent me into overdrive of passion and desire to stay with him. I nod in a response to agree with him because I couldn't find anymore words to say to him.

A flash back of my childhood came to mind when my mother was alive. As my mother told me when I was little girl about six years old. She would say, "My Lil angel when you find a man who you like just remember love can work in mysterious ways into people's lives. Even if you just meet them in the moment and you feel that you want to stay with them and desire them. They are what you call love at first sight. But not everyone will get this feeling so becareful and watch what they do and protect your heart before it gets hurt."

I started to walk away from him and I looked back for few seconds and smiled in his direction and said," You becareful to Sir and I hope to see you soon."

I walked out and head to where Valerie was waiting and laughing and she said ," Sorry I didn't want to bother you while you were talking to that hot meal of a man. Girl when have you ever said hot stuff it sounded so cringy but we got to work with you on that. but at least you are making sure you put yourself out there after what your pathic asshole ex did to you."

I blush an even deeper red and laughing with her and said," I can't help it I have been hanging out with you to much and my mind went straight to where you were with Spazz in the café. it just came out and yes please help me."
