When the Nine-winged Skydragon heard what Old Kui Ox said, he could not help but glance at Ling Jiu with a chuckle.

"That was because humans didn't treat us oxen kindly back then," Old Kui Ox sneered. "Humans used us as draft animals, treating us worse than pigs and dogs. We Oxen of course would not surrender."
"But things are different now." Old Kui Ox sighed. "I couldn't care less about others anymore after being held up in the Demon-sealing Tower for 5,000 years. I just want to get out of this damn place now, even if it would shorten my lifespan."
"I feel you." The Nine-winged Skydragon nodded. "Old Ox, there is an opportunity in front of you now. You will get to leave if you can seize this opportunity."
