Aroon stood there while not knowing what to do. "Can't we know where that chopper went?" he asked.
"Seriously?" she turned to him as if he just said something stupid, "you don't know?"
Her eyes told him the answer he already had in mind. He grabbed his head with both hands while shaking off his head. "Damn! They are getting back to the outer world," he could only say that.
"That's expected," Catrine had no other use for the screen so she was about to shut it down. "They came from the academy and did their job. Why should they wait? For you?"
Aroon ignored the mockery in her words. He knew at the center of this lost zone was an advanced facility, one that was only dedicated to special personnel and normal folks for a large price.
And the price used wasn't in any normal currency, but in the monsters' residues.
"Sigh," he could only sigh, "we have a long way to cross to get there."
