Chapter 110 SAFE
I leaned on the wall, hugging my knees as I watched Vernon tied Ryan up in the chair. I was still trembling from fears and to think that Ryan almost died in Vernon’s arms because of me made my body shook.
“Why don’t you just surrender him to the police officers?” I asked heaving a heavy sigh, fiddling my fingers on the hem of my shirt.
Vernon finished the tying of Ryan’s left ankle who was still unconscious and faced me with his serious expression.
“How?” I asked.
He looked at me with brows furrowed. “How?” he repeated my question.
I cleared my throat and rested my chin on my knees. “How did Ryan became like this?”
I’ve never seen Vernon so grievous as what he was right now. I still remember when we were just seven and his parents got divorced, he was still smiling. And when her mother died, I’ve never seen him cry.
“Our mom.” He started. “Ryan witnessed how his father killed our mom.”
