Chapter 14 - I will make you mine
After waiting in the lounge for over three hours, MiMi became more and more impatient, not only that she was extremely embarrassed when she saw the employees of the company walking past and snickering at her.
She thought how dare such low level beings, show such contempt towards her, "just you all wait, as soon as am Dominic's wife, I'll see who has the last laugh" she thought viscously.
MiMi couldn't take it any longer and went directly to Dominic's secretary to find out what was taking so long.
"Have you told Dominic that I am here, am sure a meeting doesn't take so long?" Mimi asked, clearly showing her disgust towards Daniel.
Just as she had spoken, the doors to Dominic's office opened and out walked the dashingly handsome and like a god man.
"Miss WuXain, you're still here" he asked half sarcastically, after purposely leaving her there to hopefully rot.
Mimi quickly composed herself and got into action.
"Dominic I..."
"Please don't address me, so informally it's Mr Lanxian" he harshly spoke, cutting her off and making it clear they were not that intimate.
MiMi was taken aback and visibly embarrassed as her face went red, she mistakenly thought they had got closer after their family dinner the other night.
"Oh... my apologies Mr Lanxian" she stuttered slightly and stared admiringly at Dominic, forgetting why she was there in the first place.
Dominic, who had no patience for this nonsense, spoked up coldly, showing clearly his true feelings towards this woman.
"Miss WuXain, may I ask what brings you here today?"
Mimi quickly recovered and gave Dominic her sweetest smile and spoke in a gentle voice.
"Well I recall we were to have a lunch date, I have been busy lately and hadn't had time to contact you. However, today I was in the area and thought I should see if you were available to come with me"
Dominic knew that was bullshit, but felt no need to call her out on it. In reality, he really had no intention of following through with this so-called lunch date, but he was a devoted son and didn't want to embarrass is parents by going back on his words.
Thankfully today he had to meet Michael and discuss some important plans, so he had a genuine reason to refuse her.
He sighed heavily, then looked to Daniel, not wanting to waste a single breath more on this woman.
"Book her in" and with that he left, not even sparing her a goodbye.
MiMi now extremely embarrassed and angered at the situation, she stood frozen where she stand and watched as Dominic walked out the door.
Having used to getting what she always wants, she was determined to make Dominic her alpha at any cost, and at that moment a plan formulated in her mind. "Dominic, you will mine" she thought Slyly, and a smirk formed on her lips.
