Guardian Angel

" Hello Miss." The man on the driver's seat greeted.

Xiao Li stretched her head a little to see if she could recognize the man but she couldn't.

"Hi how can I help you?"

" Do you know the direction to the YAN villa?"

" It's just straight then right."

" oh thank you."

" Why are you crying?" A man's voice was heard from the back seat.

" It's nothing, just some minor issue."

" It's alright, just sum it all up and tell me in a sentence, maybe I can help."

Xiao Li tries to see the man but couldn't get a clearer view of him since the windows were black and wined up.

She heaved a deep sigh then spoke. " I got fired from my job and my school fees is due, my principal said he would throw my things out and asked me not to come back till I've paid my fees. And my main reason for crying is that I just cut all ties with my best friend for 10 years because she seduced my boyfriend and he broke up with me, not only that.

" She mentioned my dead parents in her conversation with my roommate."

She heaved a deep sigh like she has been holding her breath for long, then mumbled. " I can't believe I told a complete stranger my person story."

The man handed her a card. " I have a job for you but I need to check up on something so we can't talk about it now, so make sure you call me tomorrow at noon if you really need the job." The man then turned to the driver. " Uncle Su, let's go."

With that, the car drove off.

Xiao Li stood in stood in shock, looking at the card on her hand, then she looked at the black Bentley till it was out of sight.

Was she dreaming?

Is he a guardian angel or what?

Thank God that uncle asked her for directions.

Seems like her bad luck days are gone.

But she really didn't see the man's face.....well she's gonna see it tomorrow.

In The Car

Uncle Su still wasn't able to process what just happened.

His young master has emotion deficit disorder (EDD) which means he couldn't feel emotions.

He couldn't even feel it when his mother cried due to argument between her and his father.

He doesn't feel sad or sympathy for anyone.

He has never smiled since he was ten, that was when they discovered he had a disorder.

He is a heartless and cold CEO who doesn't care about anyone and the one thing he hates the most was seeing someone cry.

He had even fired an employee because she cried when he said the document she had been working on for sleepless nights was rubbish and wouldn't be approved.

But this was different...

He saw this girl crying and didn't feel disgusted but instead asked her what's wrong.

He was brought out of his thought by the man's voice.

" Uncle Su, I seriously don't know what happened. I felt sad when I saw her crying, this has never happen for about thirteen years but now I felt sad and not rather disgusted."

" Young Master Du, just as confused as you are right now. I think we should visit Wang Lei."

" Yes drive to the hospital."

At The Mall Entrance

Cheng Hua waved her hand up so that Xiao Li could see where she stood from a distance, Xiao Li smiled then walked closer to her.

When Xiao Li walked very close to her, she pulled her into a hug. " All I want you to do right now is to take a deep breath and tell me what happened. Don't try to lie to me by saying it's nothing because you really don't look good and your voice want good on the phone either."

Xiao Li freed herself from the hug as tears begin to drop on her face. " What do you think happened to me."

Cheng Hua sighed then smiled. "We've been roommates for the past three years, so only with one look, I know you ain't sick buy you cried over something."

" This isn't the best place to talk so let's go to the coffee shop, you promise to tell me everything in detail, Mm?"

" okay."

They both left the mall entrance then went to the coffee shop that was just 25 meters across the mall. They sat down when they entered then ordered for two cups of coffee, it didn't take long before the waiter came with their orders.

Cheng Hua took a sip then looked softly at Xiao Li who seemed to be lost in thoughts. "Xiao Li it's okay, you don't need to think about it. Just tell me what happened maybe at least you'd a little relieved."

Xiao Li took a sip of coffee then heaved a deep sigh. "You know Chen Gao broke up with me few days ago."

" Yes."

" It was all because of Zhao Fei."

Cheng Hua's eyes widened in utter shock. "What!!! so that scum bag cheated on you with your best friend."

She lowered her voice and asked. "But how do you know he broke up with you because of Zhao Fei?"

" I overheard Zhao Fei and Xu Yao talking. She talked it ill about me to the extent that she mentioned my parents.

Cheng Hua cut her off with a "What!! didn't you give her a hot slap or punch on her face?"

" I slapped her."

Cheng Hua smiled widely. "Perfect, that's just perfect. She deserves more than a slap, she needs beating."
