3. Interesting Morning

Yuki woke up feeling the next morning feeling extremely exhausted. He eventually dragged his body out of bed and trudged down the stairs. He entered the bathroom and started to brush his teeth and cleaned up his face.

He then entered the kitchen and searched the cabinets in order to find something to eat. He decided to make himself a simple breakfast. 'Let's see here. Some rice, an egg, miso and salmon. I can work with this. (Author: I found that these are some common ingredients for a Japanese breakfast?)'

A while after he started cooking a notification sound went off in his head.

Yuki lost all focus on what he was doing and focused on the screen. 'So all my other skills in my past life will influence the rank of my current skills if they were high enough. That's cool.' He regained his focus when he smelt something burning. Looking at his burnt breakfast made him feel more tired. He then threw it out and went back upstairs to change his clothes.

Walking back upstairs he caught sight of the clock on the wall. He stared at it for a couple of seconds before remembering the time school started. 'Shit, I'm gonna be late!' Although he hated school in his previous life, he still made the effort to show up on time every day, in case something interesting happens.

He rushed upstairs and put on his uniform and hurriedly put on his uniform, shoved a few things in his bag, and grabbed his wallet before running out the door after making sure it was locked.

As he was running down the street when he got another notification.

He felt his body getting lighter and his speed increasing, but he didn't care, as long as he got to school sooner. As he was running at a speed that would impress athletes, he saw the back of a blue-haired boy spinning a chain.

Just as he was about to overtake him, he caught sight of something in his peripherals. He happened to see a blond girl jumping over the wall. He stopped running since he could tell that he was about to see something interesting, and that he did.

The blond girl ended up falling onto the boy, but not before she kneed (I don't know the past tense) him in the face. Yuki had never seen such a series of events, and it left him dumbfounded. The girl then stood up and dusted herself off before saying "Sorry! I was in a hurry!". Just before she was about to run off, she turned and spotted Yuki. She just stared at him as if confirming something but then started running again.

Yuki stood there for a few seconds before bursting out laughing, he never thought he'd something so interesting on his first day in this world. Especially when he recognized the character. She was Chitoge Kirisaki, the female protagonist of the anime Nisekoi.

It wasn't like he had gone out of his way to watch the anime or read the manga, it was just that one of his more 'interesting' friends in his previous life had insisted that he read it so that they could discuss who was the best girl, which his friend somehow believed was Marika.

'That idiot, I'm gonna miss him. Anyways I wonder why she looked like she had seen me before? I'll find out either way. Well, I guess I'm not late since Raku here is taking his time. I should get that clock fixed.' thought Yuki as he started to walk ahead, leaving behind Raku who was in a daze for two reasons, one from the collision, and two, no one in his class would believe him if he said that he heard Yuki laughing...

Meanwhile, Yuki was taking in the sights as he walked to school. It was one of the few habits he kept as he grew up. He was looking at the scenery curiously since everything seemed like it was sparkling 'Just what I expect from an anime world, everything seems so picturesque.'

As he entered the school building, he could tell that the atmosphere seemed lively. At least more than his previous school, which was filled with a bunch of smart and rich kids, it was boring. Yuki then found his classroom and entered. When he entered some people looked at him, but then turned away when they realized it was Yuki, except for one guy.

"Good morning Yuki-kun."
