"You? What are you doing here?"

Both asked the same question as they stared at each other. They were surprised and at the same time somewhat happy.

"Well... I had some work here..." Ken replied in a kind manner stating his reason for being at the hospital.

"Is that so? And what might that reason be?"

Edwin was a little angry. In fact the anger was not little, instead it was much more than he expressed. The root cause of the anger was Ken is what Edwin believed since long ago and that's why whenever they met, Edwin used to act coldly towards Ken.

His eyes were that of merciless killer.

"It's fine if you don't want to say. Just don't cause trouble for Emi here."

"What?"

Ken was surprised when he heard about Emila from Edwin.

"Emi is here? Why? Is she alright? Has something happened to her?"

Tears ran down from his eyes as he asked about Emi.

"It's none of your concern. You may do your job here. But just don't interfere in our work and don't let Emi know that you are here"

Edwin, as usual in a cold tone, replied Ken to stay away from Emika.

"Very well. You don't have to worry about that."

"It's good if you understand that. Now go."

Edwin moved swiftly and left first towards a room where Emika rested and even Ken was about to get back to the Room where Tia was resting when he saw, Edwin going inside the room where Tia rested.

"Huh!? Why did he enter that room?"

Well it might have been pure coincidence but Emika and Tia were admitted in the same room. They were just next to each other.

Ken was shocked and now tensed. The reason was simple. He wanted to take care of Tia and meet her regularly and be with her until she had recovered a bit. But he also promised not to let Emi know that Ken was here too. Hence he was in a deadlock as he didn't want to break any of the promise he made and neither did he want to leave that poor girl.

"What do I do? Tia and Emi, both are in the same room! I have to plan something so as to meet Tia and not get caught by Emi"

Ken was thinking hard as to what he could do now. He had promised Tia that he would be back soon and hence he wanted to abide that promise too.

MEANWHILE....

"What is this... this feeling..."

Tia said this as she clenched her fist. She held her tightly grabbed the the cloth that was lying and then hugged the pillow that was provided.

"My heart. Why is it so restless. Who... why... why is this happening?"

Tia was unable to understand this feeling which she was feeling. She continuously asked herself but couldn't find the answer to the question that she asked.

AT THE SAME TIME...

"Emi, don't worry. You will be fine soon"

Edwin said this as he kissed Emika on her head. Emika was unconscious and was in deep sleep whereas Edwin sat near her holding her hand in his own and gently rubbing them.

Well, both were so close yet couldn't meet each other. Emika and Tia, a mother and daughter, who were just next to each other weren't able to meet. Their meeting was prevented by the curtains that separated the beds in which they rested!
