Arrested

"I love you too." he whispered in her ear and she smiled brightly.

"I know you do, dummy." She mumbled.

The nurse finished treating Rachael, and they both walked to Steve’s car.

"Let me drop you home." He offered opening the door of his car.

"I will come home in my dad’s car, the driver must be waiting for me outside, give me your number." She said putting her hand In a small bag in her waist and handed him her phone.

He took it from her and saved his number and handed it to her.

"Where is the number?" she asked bluntly.

"I already saved it." He beamed.

"As what?" she asked bluntly.

"You will know when I call to check on you this evening." He beamed and gave her a light kiss on the forehead.

"Take care of yourself." he mumbled.

"I am just thinking of how I will face my step mum with Lisa gone now." She said, looking down.

"Don’t worry, it will be fine." He assured her and she nodded. He was about to start his car when she called out to him.

"Steve." She muttered.

"Huh." He turned to look at her, and she gave him a light kiss on the lips before running away.

"Classic Rachael." He beamed and entered his car.

Rachael eyed the car parked in front of the school and entered.

"Go." she commanded.

"But what about Lisa?" the driver inquired.

"Oh Lisa, she isn’t coming with us today." Rachael replied, and he took off.

They arrived at home, Rachael walked slowly into the house and saw Mrs Ray She was playing loud music and dancing in the living room as she arranged dishes on the table.

         Rachael’s POV

I wonder what the occasion is that is making her so happy, I haven’t even broken the news about her daughter yet.

She dropped the last dishes on the table and turned to me.

"Welcome, my lovely angels," she said, spreading her hands in the air and turning to face the entrance.

"Where is Lisa?" she asked bluntly.

"hmm- hmm." I couldn’t say anything.

"Answer me." She muttered.

"she has been arrested," I said and her smile fade she quickly switch of the music and turn to me.

"What prank are you two playing?" she said, looking at me.

"We are not playing any pranks Lisa has been arrested she tried to pour me acid on stage today." I made a snarky remark and she glared at me and pushed me to the couch, walking out of the house. Maybe she is going to see her stupid daughter at the police station.

I walked to the dining table and opened the dishes I set for the match potatoes and started eating them.

"Let me see how she gets her daughter home." I finished eating and walked into my room. I started taking off my clothes, walked to the bathroom, finished bathing, and walked outside to put on pink pajamas. I look at the time on my phone it was 10:00 pm in the evening I thought my dad, come home 9:00 am everyday. I went to my contact to call Steve. I was missing him and I saw heartthrob on my contact.
