The moment the fight started, Kiara’s whip-like sword was already arching its way towards Leonidas’ head.
The arena, surprised by her sword’s weird ability to extend like a whip, was in awe. The sword, in the end, was stopped by Leonida’s arm guard.
At some point, he’d raised his arm to defend himself. Kiara had noticed this and was hoping for that. There was no way an attack to the head right off the bat would have worked.
In a fight against a stronger opponent, you had to dictate the flow, or you would receive a swift and painful death.
As if it were alive, the sword crawled around Leonidas’s arm, it’s pointed edges digging into his skin. It was a creepy sight that made the audience cringe.
Once the sword was firmly dug into his skin, Kiara activated the sword’s special ability, [Lightning Surge].
She herself was never a fan of the lightning element, but the sword was a gift from Kiara, so she figured it made some sense that it was a part of it.
