"Your suggestion better be good," Anasta said, as in Bastian's crew, women were usually in charge of beating up other women. "That man has suffered enough."

The woman let her pink hair fall down. She had unnatural eyes as well, huge, iridescent irises framing her widened pupils.

"There are ways to make dead people walk again," the bubbly, pink-haired lady said, looking a bit crazy as she spoke. It could have very well been so that they had accidentally stumbled across a she-vampire.

"No, there isn't," Anasta replied, but she did not sound so sure about it. "Necromancy's impossible. No one has possessed the Book of Black Opal in centuries; it was destroyed in the burning of the Library of Port Opal."

"Destroyed, my ass," the pink-haired woman said. "Can you even read, witch?"

"Watch your mouth when you talk to Anasta," Bastian warned. "But do carry on. Do you know each other from somewhere?"

"Unfortunately yes," Anasta growled. "This…woman…"
