Taking Hostage

"Enough about your red hair! Everyone, kill him now!", Hans yelled loudly.

The residents marched forward with more confidence this time since they believed Shiro could not use any of his powers anymore.

It was true, that Shiro could not use his divine powers nor his mana in the presence of the artifacts.

However, he still had other functions of the system to depend on.

He had stored his daggers inside his inventory. He took them out hurriedly, planning to take on all of them.

"Kill him!", the residents roared loudly as they rushed toward Shiro.

Shiro ran forward with the daggers in his hand and began defending himself from the residents' spears.

The residents kept trying to stab Shiro using their spears, but every time it happened, Shiro would stop them at the last minute and use his daggers to push the spears away.

Since the spears were much bigger than his weapons, Shiro had a hard time breaking them.
