It has been three months since Zen was taught of the mantra and he was also taught during these three months on how to control the energy he gathers in his Dantian. It took him two full months to be fully adept on channeling his energy making him able to solidify his energy.
Right now, He and Hasi sat in a lotus position side by side as they chant a mantra.
"Om Mani Padme Hum" their voice reverberated around the backyard, seemingly resonating with their surroundings.
They had been in this state for three hours right now, undisturbed from any noise that comes from the area around them. Of course, Mariz and Ed slept peacefully as they are accustomed to seeing this kind of training of these master and pupil happen.
At the first day this happened, they were so shocked they couldn't sleep the whole night, Mariz complained that Zen might lack sleep due to staying all night but after seeing the next day where Zen looked as if he was energized made her resign her complaints.
Currently, the two voices were becoming more intense and a shockwave spread from them due to the clashing of their voices.
Zen was the first to open his and eyes followed by his master.
"It's my lost again, master" Zen said as he stood up and helped his Master from standing up.
"You're comprehension of the mantra is getting better, Zen"
"Still too far from your level, master"
"Hahahaha! Maybe in a hundred years, my child" The old man smiled and patted Zen's head "Anyway Zen, I asked for your parent's permission to take you to a trip during summer"
Zen lost his composure and became too excited "Really!? Did they agree, grandpa?"
"Of course Zen, anyway let's sleep, you still have school later"
"Alright grandpa"
The two went inside the house and to their respective rooms, the family and an old man slept well until morning arises.
Three weeks then passed by in a flash.
Zen sat on his chair in their classroom with his three friends alongside him; everyone in their class was staring at their teacher in a serious manner. Their eyes were so open that it might seriously explode.
"Okay children, this is the last day of school, I will see you all in the next school year!" The teacher in front announced, she was then shocked when she saw the children shout and ran towards her for a hug.
"Thank you teacher for everything!" everyone came for a hug besides the child who has performed the best in their class, she observed him; he was a calm and serious boy but he do become childish when he was with his three best friends.
The children then let go of each other and Zen walked slowly towards his teacher, bowing slightly as he said "Thank you, teacher"
The teacher was touched from everyone's gratitude and bade them farewell as they all went away to go home.
Zen and his friends were walking towards their school gate when he suddenly looked at each of them.
"Do you guys want some ice cream? It's my treat"
"Really Zen? Let's go then!" The three smiled happily, they could taste that sweet flavor again.
The four friends smiled merrily as they walked towards the grocery store owned by Zen's family.
"Zen, Let's play every day during summer!" Toni proclaimed as he went far ahead the group and acted comedic in front of them.
"Yeah, we can go play swords!" Dan added as he got excited.
Zen smiled as he looked at his friends "Well guys, my grandpa is bringing me somewhere far during summer"
"Really? So we can't even play together" Sheena said as she looked at Zen sadly, the two boys also felt sad as they were hoping that their group is complete as they play together this summer.
"Yeah, but don't worry I will bring back gifts for everyone"
The three was sad along the way but their sadness were washed away as they savor the Ice cream's flavor.
The four conversed and talked about things that happened in their rural areas, soon they bade goodbyes to each other as they parted ways. Zen was seemingly contemplating on something as he walked towards home.
He was confused as to why he felt indifferent from not being able to play with his friends this summer, he used to feel sad but now the emotion like sadness felt like a faraway concept in his mind since he started learning from his grandpa.
Unknowingly, he had already reached home and was shocked how he had been absentmindedly walking, he then looked at their house and saw Hasi standing in front, smiling as if he had been waiting for Zen.
"Grandpa, how long have you been standing there?"
"Forget about that Zen, come greet your parents first and I'll answer your questions"
Zen then bowed and did a mano to Hasi, he then walked inside to the living room to see his father who was reading a newspaper greet him, Zen walked and did a mano.
"Zen, you'd be leaving with Grandpa Hasi tomorrow, you better prepare your clothes after greeting your mother"
"Yes dad"
Zen went to his room after he greeted his parents, he only packed a few clothes in a small bag as it was the instruction of his master to bring only a few clothes and items even if they're trip is going to take long. He busied himself with arranging hi stuff.
Hasi walked inside as he asked Ed and Mariz to come to the living room to converse about his and Zen's trip.
"To be honest, I can't thank you both enough for your hospitality and generosity" Hasi said in English as he bowed to the two of them "And so my only way of repaying had been to teach Zen as my disciple"
"Grandpa, we are grateful too but we're kind of curious where you will be taking Zen?" The two asked, they had been fond of Hasi and started treating him as real family months ago.
"I will take Zen around the globe for experience"
They had long been aware of on how mysterious and powerful Old man Hasi was, they knew that were was a lot of secrets in this because of Ed's familial ties to a great clan.
"How long will it take for the both of you to be back, grandpa?" Ed asked curiously, being away from his child left him a bitter taste but he knew that without this, his child would just grow to be a normal boy that is only meant to be controlled by the clan.
"Most likely for a few years"
The two couldn't hide their shock from this simple answer, they were reluctant and was about to refuse when they heard Hasi's proposition.
"Please don't refuse yet, I promise that if you let Zen travel with me, I will protect him from your clan and this experience might even make fit to be your clan's head" Hasi laughed.
This was an alluring for this couple who longs for their child to live undisturbed by his clan, Ed couldn't help but only nod and agree to Hasi.
"Grandpa, I give Zen's safety to your hands"
"Thank you grandpa for helping us" Mariz bowed as she smiled.
Hasi looked at these two and his heart grew soft, they were the ones who saved him as well as the parents of his beloved disciple; he started to thought of them as his family during his stay.
He channeled his thought on his ring and two pellet sized item appeared on his right hand. He the pellets on his hand towards the couple as he said "Consuming this pellet will extend your lifespans for 10 years and will keep you away from most diseases"
The two refused but soon they stopped as they felt a force controlling them, the pellet in Hasi's hands flew towards each of their mouth and blended into their body.
"You two deserve this kind of gift and you don't need to refuse any gifts I will give you in the future too"
The two were in doubt if the pellet's effect was true but then a sudden feeling came inside them, they felt as healthy as ever and their body became light without pressure.
The couple bowed and thanked him gratefully, soon they went towards their bedroom and Hasi went the backyard to meditate.
"Honey, do you think the effects of the pellet are true?"
"I trust Grandpa" Ed smiled as he kissed his wife "I feel stronger than ever, honey do you want to make a sibling for Zen?"
"Oh you, Of course I do"
The two voices could be heard by Hasi when he expanded the reach of his spirit although he stopped it when the two became too sexual.
He smiled and felt warmhearted.
