I was scared of him that much was obvious, but it was also clear that he was in no state to be reasoned, so I had to be careful with all my actions so he would not take his anger out on me. Although I was scared of him, there was this comfort that I felt being so close to him. It must surely be because he is familiar to me in all this strangeness. I followed blindly behind him without uttering a single word, from the way his chest was heaving I knew he was still angry and he needed an avenue to vent it all out, I can only hope that he would not choose me to do so,

Finally we got to field just like the one he took me to earlier. The only difference between the both of them is that this is not wild but is obviously taken care of by the inhabitants. Immediately we got here, he let go of my hand and headed directly to a tree and began to punch the tree. I went behind him, I raised my hand with the intention of placing it on his shoulder or between the shoulder blade, as a way to let him know that I was here for him but just before my hand could touch him, he screamed out. I immediately retracted and folded my hand while taking some step away from him. I could only look at him with tears in my eyes, we were both hurting badly but for different reasons. He was not even willing to let anyone come close to him to comfort him while all I wanted now was someone that would draw me into their hands and tell me that it would all be alright soon,

He kept screaming but I knew that it was not from the pain in his hand, it must be an emotional pain or a way to vent out his anger. He kept pacing around, my eyes felt dizzy from tracking all his movement, so I had to shut it for some time, when I opened them back up, he was on the floor with his head in his hand. I took some unsteady step towards him, like a baby learning how to walk for the first time,

I ensured that I made some noise as I approached him, so he would not be taken aback and attack me. I did this purposely, so if he does not want me to approach, he would order me to stay back before I get to him. When he did not move or make any movement to prevent my getting close to him, I had a little more confidence and walked till I got to where he was. I squatted in front of him and gently pulled his hand away From his head, so I would be able to observe the injury
