Chapter 33 – Nobuyuki Kawabata

Third person POV

At his senpai's house, Taro was playing some video games with his senpai, Nobuyuki Kawabata. He had been in his house for 3 hours, including lunchtime with him and his mother. He had a habit of going to his house twice a week, and that includes Saturday, and every time, he was having fun with him.

Nobuyuki also has a cousin named Rin, who is currently in college and thus spends most of her time away from home. Rin was taken in by Nobuyuki and his parents after her parents died in a car accident when she was in middle school. Her personality is known to be bad-tempered on things she doesn't like, and Nobuyuki always makes sure he won't cross or make her mad. Otherwise, she'll yell at him.

Back in that room belonging to Nobuyuki, Taro tries to go against him in a race video game on a console. But. he did, and Nobuyuki lost against him.

"No way!" Nobuyuki commented.

Taro chuckled. "I win!"

"Okay, good game, my friend."

"Thanks, senpai."

After that, both of them went downstairs to get some water.

"So, how's your friends?" Nobuyuki asked Taro.

"I haven't heard from them for a while," Taro replied while thinking. "But I'm sure they're fine."

"That's good to hear. I hope they are working hard as well."

"Thanks, senpai."

Nobuyuki Kawabata has been a nerd since middle school. He loves math, science, and physics at a young age. He is nice and understanding. The reason why he was a senpai to Taro is that the former is a senior in high school. Taro became his friend when Taro was in his freshman year. Ever since then, they are friends who had some common interests and hobbies like manga and video games. Nobuyuki loves to hang out with Taro, whether at home or going out eating food or shopping.
