Chapter 27 – Taro’s friendship with them

Third person POV

 Once school was opened after 2 days of cleansing. Taro attended, rather excited to meet up with Hoshi, Sha, Bokuto, and Saki. Before class started, he went to search for them. After much searching, he found them having a chat in the school courtyard.

 "Hey, guys!" he called.

They then looked at him.

 "Taro-kun?"

 "Hey there, kiddo."

 "Come here."

Taro did so. "How are you, guys?"

 "We're fine, Taro-kun, thank you," Bokuto positively replied. "And you?"

 "I'm doing great, too," Taro happily responded, "can you guess what I did yesterday?"

 "What did you do?" Hoshi raised his eyebrow.

 "I'm practicing gunnery with my father's former firearms instructor."

This surprises them a lot.

 "Gunnery training?"

 "You mean, you were training to be a police officer?"

 "Yeah, but I'm aiming to be an exorcist," Taro replied.

 "An exorcist but wields a gun?" Sha asked in confusion.

 "Yup, that'll be my style. My father is a policeman, too."

 "Okay, but why?" Saki asked back.

 "That thing is, guys," Taro admitted, "I was inspired by you guys to do that?"

 "How?" Sha asked. "That attack by Amanojaku?"

 "Yup, that one."

They were amazed by his response and initiative.

 "Wow…"

 "Nice one."

 "You can do it, Taro."

 "Aww, thanks, you guys." Taro couldn't hold back his response to their compliments.

And then, the school bell rang, and they all went back to their places. 

At the same time, because of his bravery against Amanojaku, Sha was made an official, full-time school employee, much to his dismay. But, it turns out that Master Demon Blood had purposely sent Amanojaku to attack the school to see if Kuro could handle it. And it turns out, Kuro did handle it very well, and Master Demon Blood, upon hearing it from Sha, decided to test him more further. What tests and trials he will put Kuro into?
