Chapter 13 - A Little Shopping

Bokuto's POV

After that nice time at the ice cream shop, we went to a stationery store in the strip mall to buy some school supplies. The reason why is that I ran out of pencil lead for my mechanical pencils. Hoshi said that he ran out of notebooks and sticky notes for personal use. Saki, on the other hand, said that she doesn't want to buy anything. So, at that store, me and my classmate browsed for what we needed for ourselves. I searched for my typical pack of pencil lead in the strongest grade of lead possible.

Then, I found it, and it was cheap so I got 3 packs of them for 150 yen each.

After that, I decided to get another mechanical pencil in plain color aesthetics. Me and Saki then searched for our friend, only to see him choosing between some notebooks.

"Dude, how many do you need?" I asked him.

Hoshi then looked at me. "Around 3, one for personal use."

"How about in colors you actually like?"

"Yeah, sure, I liked grey and black so I'll get them in those colors."

He then chose 2 spiral-bound notebooks in grey and 1 hardbound notebook in black, before tossing them into a shopping basket.

After that, we went to an aisle full of sticky notes and other small packs of paper so he could pick up some sticky notes. He likes to use them for reminders, or so what he said to me a long time ago. So, he got a pack of it in a dark blue color and tossed it into the basket. With that, I turned to Saki and asked her if she needed anything.

"No, not at all," she responded like that.

"I see. Let's pay for them."

And so, we all went to the cashiers to pay for them. The total price was 1,100 yen, but I considered that as dirt cheap. Me and Hoshi then paid for them using our own money. I get 5,000 yen as a weekly allowance from my parents, but I put most of them in the money box because I am not the type who spends money a lot. After all that, once we got our purchases in two plastic bags, we left the store and went home, just in time before 6 o'clock strikes.
