Coffee Or Tea?

(A/N: Sorry for late chapter, I fell asleep and slept for few days, and when I woke up, I was in a tree with purple chains around, so basically it was guarded by a dragon called Ystrel and later I- *continues yapping*)

"Laying on the couch while not being able to roll or switch positions is kind of tiring already, my all limbs are numb." I sat down properly and stretched with a long yawn, "What a wonderful and beautiful morning it is today."

I looked outside of a window from living room and saw that sun is only going up, "I wonder what time it is already, if I remember correctly then classes start at eight." After some times my limbs weren't that numb anymore and I got up

Heading towards a kitchen I poured some water in kettle and waited for it to start boiling water for tea. In front of me there were several jars with labels of different kinds of teas and coffees.

I looked a bit more around and couldn't see where cups where, "Where are the cups, I can't find them." As I said that a voice near me replied, "Below the drawer near the stove."

"Thanks." I crouched down and took the cup for my tea out, "I prefer cups being above sink, why are they put so low." I looked at the man who was answering, he was a tall man with red irises and blonde medium length hair.

And most importantly, he was in blue pyjama with cute lion heads on it, 'Cute...'

While putting tea in cup I looked at the cup and became serious, "I have a serious life question to you..." I took a deep breath and said looking at him, "Coffee or tea"

We both were standing near each other and just staring at each other in complete silence, while only sound was boiling water from kettle

Standing next to him I was just a mere kid in matter of height while he was a whole 40 cm higher than me at that.

I looked at him again and he was so stunned for such random question that he didn't knew what to say, "Personally... I would prefer coffee, nothing beats a fine coffee early in the morning."

I lightly sighed and poured boiling water in cup, "Is that so." I took my cup of tea and walked away to sofa in living room and sat down, "Personally, no... Matter of fact, tea is better in every sense than coffee, it has no flaws, it is perfect."

He walked with cup of coffee to the same sofa and sat down next to me, "Better in any sense? Tea is just a hot water with a leaf thrown in."

A vein popped on my the side of my head, "Just... just a leaf thrown in? At this point you're disrespecting yourself, coffee is just a mere hot water with beans!"

A vein too popped up on his head while he heard my answer, "Oh no, my friend, I think you're deeply misinformed, coffee is a pure form of art. It is a finely tuned dance of grinding, brewing, and extracting. And you say a mere leaf can beat it?"

"Tea is art too, you mud drinker, coffee looks like dirt mixed with water. It's not that it is dirt with water, but it makes even water so dirty that I can't even call it as such." I replied, "In other words dis-gus-ting."

"You..." He wanted to fight back, but next second we both heard a voice, "What is this noise early in morning? You both loud mouthed idiots, can you both keep it down, I can't even read a book." A tall man with a pale skin, gray hair which had green locks and light turquoise eyes which were looking at us both, "Especially you Kaveh, shut up before I will tape it shut. Otherwise I will lock you outside."

He came closer and looked at me, "It means same to you, next time I will take your keys and lock you out, it is my house, my rules. Understood? you..."

I replied, "Name's Fuji." I looked at him and smiled internally while closing eyes after blowing lightly on my hot tea, "I have a life and death question for you, coffee or tea."

He sat down while taking out of nowhere a book and immediately replied without a second thought, "Coffee." I sighed, "So you like that mud water too... Mr... Sprout?"

Hearing my answer his eyebrow twitched, and Kaveh couldn't hold in his laugh "Pfft, you heard that Alhaitham? You're now a MR. SPROUT." A vein popped out on Alhaitham's forehead.

Alhaitham closed his book and got up taking us both and kicked open his door while throwing us outside, "Don't return, or else I will castrate you both."

After that he smashed the door shut and we both heard him locking it from inside. I laughed a bit and got up, "At least I finished my tea", Kaveh got up right after me and replied, "Same, but coffee." We both were kicked outside but only I were in normal clothes because I didn't change since yesterday, but... Kaveh was in his pyjama.

We both stood there in front of the door until Kaveh said, "We would need to apologize later to him." I nodded, and just the very next second his stomach rumbled making him a bit shy, "Ahem..."

I laughed a bit, "Hungry?" He nodded lightly, and I sighed, "let's go somewhere then, I arrived here only yesterday so I don't know any places." we both started walking and said, "I would like to, but I... don't have much money right now..."

I smirked, "Don't worry, I got ya" {Arsenal - Mora pouch} I took out of my clothes a small pouch and shook it a bit, making it make a sound that everyone likes, sound of money!

(A/N: Everything that mc mentyally counts as weapon/armor/battle oriented thing even if it isn't he can put in arsenal.)

Kaveh in response only looked at me like at his savior while bursting in sparkles, "Bro, I got you" he gave me a thumbs up, "I will show places that even Alhaitham doesn't knows yet."

'Just because of a small pouch of mora I can become already the level of bro?' I laughed a bit, "Sure bro, let's go eat."

After a while, at some random restaurant we both were eating pudding (I ate seventh and Kaveh was eating fifth) I finished it and said, "I have feeling as I forgot something." Kaveh shrugged in response, "If you forgot it's not that important."

'I hope so...', I nodded to him and shouted, "Chef, one more pudding!" Kaveh repeated right after with a full mouth of it, "One for me too."

Chef only smiled wryly and nodded

...Akademiya, Alchemy class

Teacher looked at paper and said sighed, "At the first day there is already a student who is absent? What a scoundrels are accepted in Akademiya nowadays."
