My Nightmare System

The year 2151.

This world is trash.

Everything that belongs in this world is trash.

People, animals, monsters, me..... me.... me, I am a trash.....

When will I die and be liberated from this nightmare?

In a corner at the end of the hall, first year of high school, science class C, Rash is a fifteen-year-old boy, shabby-looking and wearing a worn-out uniform, It is all he has at the moment.

Rash sat in his chair as usual, nobody cared about his condition, even with the constant rumbling of his stomach from hunger, but all he received from his classmates were many despised looks. After all, it is not the first time that something like this has happened, from the first day of his birth until this moment, you can describe his life in one word, miserable....

Rash does not have parents or family, according to what he heard from some people in the orphanage, one of the cleansing agents picked him up on a rainy night, at the public dumpster, he thought he was already dead, how can a child of only several months after his birth survive in this rough weather?

But when he took him to the police station to report the case, they discovered that he was still breathing.

After saving his life and taking care of him in the hospital, and when they did not find anything about this boy, whether knowing his identity or finding a family to take care of him, the hospital administration decided to leave him to the orphanage.

There are a lot of cases like Rash's situation, but the difference is that Rash's life is miserable in the fullest sense of the word.

In the orphanage, all the employees treat him as just a mentally-retarded boy, so they rarely care about him, well he is very weak, more like a skeleton, and his ugly appearance is what makes the surrounding people uncomfortable and feel disgusted when seeing him. When he became a child, he was admitted to primary school.

To his misfortune, life there is no better than the one in the orphanage, as most of the youngsters are the same ones he grew up with. Still, those days weren't that bad for Rash, at least he was too young to understand the harsh treatment he's been through and the great distinction he suffers from. Then by the time he reached middle school and started to understand many things in his life, it was already too late. In school his name is Rash, and he doesn't have a family name just Rash, so he doesn't know when it happened, but everyone calls him Trash now. Harassment, assaults, mockery, abuse, violence..... are normal things in his life today, this does not mean that he never tried to react, or that he received all of it willingly, but all his attempts failed, he tried the normal methods of informing The teachers, but it did not help, he tried to respond with his own strength, but the other party have much number and stronger people, and even if he managed to beat one of them, the consequences, would be worse because he will get punished from the school and orphanage and finely he will get beaten again...., he tried to coexistence with the situation but nothing worked, his life is like a real curse.

Rash thought a lot, why is all this happening to him?

What do other people have that he does not?

Not having a family? Many people like him do not have a family. Is his outward appearance not handsome? Not everyone is born good-looking, and this is not a reason why everyone treats him badly. His behavior? Well, he might be a little reckless and thick-headed due to his lack of proper upbringing, but he tried to change in this aspect, and yet it didn't help.

When he has given up on his life, and has not found any goal that would enable him to continue any longer, Rash decides to put an end to all his suffering. So he went to the nearest building he thought of, one of the tallest one next to his middle school, then went up to the roof and decided to jump from there.

The attempt also failed because of his misfortune, not only that what happened, the person who saved his life at the last moment before crashing to the ground, was one of the famous heroes in the city.

Yes, in this world, heroes or people who are able to use different abilities do exist, not like the past where humanity was not able to do so.

The important matter, let's go back to the case of Rash, that hero was around when Rash wanted to jump from the building, and because of his strange ability, which enables him to feel the emotions of the surrounding people, that hero was able to come fast to his place and save him. The hero had a very bad day, so he was very angry at Rash's attempt and yelled at him furiously, "Why you do that? Do you think life is a game? In our present age every soul is a very valuable thing that might help humanity to overcome its constant ordeals, why would you simply kill it?"

Because of what happened in the past, and for an unknown reason, various monsters began to appear in the world, at the beginning, people did not feel their danger, but as the days went by, these monsters wreaked havoc on the earth, some mankind managed to eliminate it with the modern weapons, but some monsters even nuclear bombs did not affect them.

Of course, monsters like these can kill humans with their power, but the strange thing is that they suddenly disappeared without trace.

What are those monsters? And how did they come to our world?

These questions have not been answered, but today, those monsters can appear out of nowhere in front of you, and if your day was bad, then it is the end.

Rash looked at the hero standing in front of him, he knew who he was, but there were no feelings of joy in Rash's face when meeting with such a famous person. In those moments his heart was filled with blackness, negative thoughts and whatever he hears, his mind turns it into bad thoughts. Rash spoke in a weak voice, he had not eaten in two days, "There is no more meaning to my life, maybe death is my best solution."

"You...." The hero become more angry and did not know what to say, he does not have time to waste on another boy who thinks that life is harsh just because of some bad family matters or school problems, of course he does not know the full situation, and he did not care to know it anyway, so he hit him in the face with a punch.

Yeah.... he hit and beat Rash until he begged him to stop.

The hero snorted, "Why should I stop? Didn't you want to die anyway? I'm just trying to fulfill your wish."

Rush was unable to respond because of the pain, even if he wanted to die, he did not want to suffer in the process. Unfortunately, that hero beat him so badly that he had to sleep in the hospital for several days because of that.

Aren't heroes supposed to help the weak? But for me it ended by beating.
