Yue

Yue was very surprised to hear from her mother, that her stupid brother (whom she hated) had awakened the ability. "So you say that your brother has awoken his ability? Thats really cool isn't it!" This is Julie, one of Yue's best friends. "No its not cool! he doesn't deserve a beast thats that cute and a superior beast as well! why couldn't I get one that cute." Yue sulked. "Well I guess your brother just got lucky with his pick of beast egg. Although I don't think I've seen the kind of beast you described before. Who would've guessed that your brother would have gotten a super rare beast like that!"

"Well the thing is I think I know what the beast is based on what I've researched, and It sounds like a beast that has actually existed longer than humans. I think its called a spirit fox, and these are creatures who used to be worshipped and praised by us as dieties or gods. They are a really ancient being that is thought to have gone extinct. I'm not sure how or why but I think he managed to get a legendary beast!"

"Whaaaat! No way, so you think that he got a really super duper extra really cool mysterious ancient fox god as a beast!?"

"I'm not sure but based on what I've found I think its a possibility. Man this really sucks!"

"Awww there there, its ok your brother just got really lucky "Julie leaned over and gave Yue a hug. "Thanks Julie, your always there to comfort me, I'm really happy that your my best friend." They continued on their way to the academy and towards their class.

"Good morning students today we have an announcement from the principal!"

Their homeroom teacher Mr. Ryker called out.

"Hello everyone my name is Ms. Stephanie and I'm here to announce that we will be doing the annual school wide tournament for our beast tamers in 1 month, so work hard to improve you and your partners."

The entire class suddenly erupted into a loud wave of cheers at this, especially the boys. The annual tournament was going to start soon and the whole school started to prepare for it. "Wow I can't believe that its already here so soon" said Julie. "Yeah same here, it feels like time went by real fast. "The excitement ran through the academy like electricity and the energy could be felt all around. "So I heard that last years champion graduated already so there's gonna be a real fight for the top spot this year!"

"So what your goal for the tournament Julie? top 50?"

"No nothing like that Yue, you know me I'm not very competitive. I would just like to be in the top 100 at most, that would make me happy"

"Oh come on! you should at least aim for top 50, you realize that there is always sponsors watching our matches. If you can manage to catch someone's eye, you could be in a good spot in the future!"

"Well you remember my family right Yue?"

"Yeah why?"

"Well you see the thing is we are actually millionaire's, we just chose not to flaunt our money around." Julie whispered.

"What?! No way, really and you never thought to tell me this even though were friends?!" Yue whispered vehemently.

"Well I never really felt the need to tell you plus its nice to know were not friends just because of my wealth."

"Yeah fair point I suppose, to many greedy bastards out their. "Yue expressed angrily.

(Tournament reference: there is about 5000 students in the academy and this is Yue and Julie's first tournament.)

After class was over Yue and Julie walked down to the training facilities on the second floor. The training facilities are built of a special expensive stone called Morphite, its a type of rare stone that changes its properties to handle almost every type of attack available. It took them a whole month just to memorize the layout of the academy.

First floor, main building: Café/Welcome area

Second floor, main building: Indoor training facilities

Third floor, main building: Class rooms

Fourth floor, main building: Teachers meeting area

Fifth floor, main building: Principal area

Left side building: Nursery/Beast biology studies

Right side Field: Outdoor training grounds/ practice area

"So Julie how about we practice together?"

"Sure why not! Come on out Bubbly!" Julie then proceeded in summoning a white vortex, and from within a torrent of water started to flow out of it along with futuristic looking whale that was floating in the air. It swam through the air with grace and speed. It was a high grade beast called a Spale, yes a Spale, the people who found it were unfortunately very lazy. It looked like a mix of machine and whale, with the machine parts glowing with an eerie yellow color. It was quite spectacular to see

"Alright well then i'll get my partner too. Come to me, Razor Fin!" Out of Yue's Vortex came a lithe and agile blue cat with smooth skin. It had razor sharp claws that were a greenish color, they had foldable webs between its claws and a

had a spiked tail that was about 10ft in length. This tail was not only long but also had a venomous coat on it that could paralyze or slow an opponent down with great efficiency. The razor fin stood at a height of 4 meters and had a length of 40 ft.

The Spale had a height of 8 meters and a length of 60 ft.

"Get Ready Julie because I don't plan on holding back!"

"Sure whatever your Razor Fin can do I'm sure Bubbly can handle it." The sparring match will begin... in the next side chapter;)
